On the way home, we thought again, it's only an hour out of the way and the first time was a bust! So we tried again. We were watching the webcam to see if the fog would lift enough. It looked clearn enough, so we took a chance. There was still snow, but we could see it! And it was gorgeous with the snow! I know it's a memory our kids will not forget, at least the big kids.

It was kind of shocking to see so many people there with nothing to see.

| I'm not sure, until this day, that I have seen snow on the canyon like this. It really was better than sweating like crazy. |

| A guy was really nice and offered to take a picture of our entire family, but we really wanted to actually see the canyon in the background. Unfortunately, you couldn't really see where we are. |

| And there I am in sweatpants, haha! I didn't have any snow appropriate clothes at that point in our trip. |
The wind was a little bit chilly!!
I loved seeing the white snow against the canyon walls.
