Every year the elementary kids perform Christmas songs for the parents. They have some really good music teachers and learn all kinds of things, plus the kids sound great every year! Sorry for the poor filming.

Someone learned how to climb out of her crib (thankfully it took her much longer than her brothers), but now she refuses to lay down for a nap. It's much more common for her to fall asleep in the car now.

Savanna was a saint and took our family pictures this year. She did an amazing job, especially considering what she was working with!! The boys did better than ever and we asking to get their picture taken. It helped that we let them choose where to get them taken. Bentley on the other hand refused to let us get a picture by herself. She did pretty good in the family shots, not great but good. However, if you notice she has her purse then entire time!! Overall I think this was the best family picture experience we have ever had!
Of course her best smile had to be in the ugly blue swing, not a regular one that could look find, but the horrible plastic one!!

Every year on the weekend of Thanksgiving, the city of Childress has a downtown celebration to kick off the Christmas season. They have pictures with Santa (which we never do because the lines are so long), music, hot chocolate, and a hayride through the park to see all the Christmas lights. The kids love the hayride and seeing all the lights. This year they didn't have hot chocolate which was a bummer, but the lights were still fun to see.
