More Puddles with Daddy

One day while I was gone, Daddy took the boys out to play in the huge puddle all the rain left. He said while Damon was getting ready to go out, he kept saying, "I'm so excited! I'm so excited!" They had a lot of fun playing outside. Daddy even gave them a bath when they were done!!
We have been amazed with how much water there is around here after all the rain.  We haven't seen this much rain in a LONG time!
Splish Splash
I think this is Radley's favorite thing to do.
Damon kept running and falling face first into the water!
This was some muddy water.

Who knew rain could be so fun?!?

Rainy Fun at Nana & Papa's

After Kenney graduated, he wanted to take the boys camping. We thought going somewhere near Childress would be fun because if the weather didn't cooperate we could still have fun at Nana & Papa's house (plus I wouldn't have to go camping with them. I could stay at the house). Unfortunately, it rained a lot while we were there and the camping got cancelled. Of course the boys still had fun playing outside and with cousins.

Since the camping couldn't happen, they set the tent up in the den with the hope that the boys (except maybe Radley) would sleep in the tent.  They were super excited about it when it first went up, running in and out.

This, however, is how the tent remained through the night!  No one slept in the tent.  They couldn't lay still and said it was too dark.  Eventually, they just went to sleep in the bedroom.  Kenney joked that he was going to go sleep in the tent, just to be alone!
This little guy LOVES splashing in puddles!
The puddles were just too tempting; they couldn't be avoided.  I also caved because they wanted to go camping so bad that this had to be the next best thing for them.
It was a lot of fun watching them just run and splash around.  I was freezing just watching them, so I have no idea how they lasted getting wet too!
Day #2 in the puddles.  Apparently they were going 4wheeling or washing cars, I'm not sure which.  Either way, the clothes didn't last long and they were eventually just in underwear.
Damon has such a love/hate relationship with being dirty.  He likes to play with the dirt and mud, but hates being dirty!  It's pretty funny watching him.
Radley kept chasing Damon around with rocks and mud.  I was shocked how well Damon took it!  Maybe he is growing up a little bit!!
100% Little Brother
Damon even let him put rocks in his hair!
It was dry enough one day for us to go to the park.  I am still amazed this slide is around.

Damon's cracking me up holding up his pajama pants!!

He's DONE & Mother's Day

We can't believe that 3 years of school have come and gone! Kenney is done with school FOREVER!!! He finished school and now has a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He finished with a higher GPA than his undergrad and impressed everyone he came in contact with along the way. His professors were amazed that he was able to do so well with a family of three kids, and his patients loved him at all of his clinical sites. He was offered a job at every place he interned. I cannot express how proud I am of all of his hard work and dedication to school and us during these 3 years! He is amazing! He insists that he is not done yet because he has to pass his license exam in July, but we are proud and happy none the less.

Some really good friends of ours were nice enough to take us out to dinner the day Kenney finished! We were both so happy and excited, and we have amazing friends!
Mother's Day was nice this year as the boys brought me breakfast in bed.  Radley was even nice enough to help me eat it and drink most of my juice!!
The best attempt we had at a Mother's Day picture.  These boys are hard to contain in a picture, but I still love them greatly!  Kenney even made dinner.  It was so nice, and he worked really hard.

Kyler has been hitting really well off a pitch, but he shattered one of his balls recently. They decided to piece it back together to see if he could hit it off the T and watch the pieces fly.

Radley has been practicing his hitting too!
