Water Balloon Fight

Oma sent us home with some water balloons and the kids drove me crazy asking when they could play with them. Wednesday night we decided to let have at it. I had about 50 here at the house, and she gave us 200, so it was a lot!! Thankfully we didn't have to tie any of them. Our kids will never understand the frustration and time it used to take to fill up water balloons, but I'm thankful as a parent I don't have to have that problem myself any more!! Thanks for the fun Oma!

Here they are filling up the cooler. That was just as much fun as the fight!!

Ready for the fight!!
Their faces, haha!!

It got intense pretty quickly.  I should have taken an after picture of all the red spots on their backs and chests.

Bentley had her tongue out the entire time!!

She would just grab 2 at a time and throw them into the grass!

They thought it was fun to squeeze the water out and make the balloon 'pee' all over one another.

Going in deep

Bentley can now climb onto the big trampoline using the little trampoline (a big deal since she doesn't need help anymore).
These two were going at it pretty hard!
Jumping around with water balloons.

Bentley helping to clean up by picking up one piece at a time.  She literally refused to pick up more than one piece; it was ridiculous!!

And the fight begins! There are a few hard smacks in there, and Radley growling as he begins his retaliation. It was very entertaining and fun to watch!

Missouri Part IV

We didn't have any set plans while we were in Missouri, but we knew this was probably the only 'vacation' our family would have this summer. We wanted to take the kids to do some fun things we don't usually do when we visit. Zadi took the boys to the Lego Ninjago movie. They got some candy before the movie and got to sit in the big recliner seats with seat warmers!! They loved going. Papa Dude then later took all the kids to see Incredibles II. When they got back, we asked them the movie was, and Kyler's reply was, "Well the seats didn't have butt warmers." My oh my he gets entitled quickly!! However, they loved that movie too. Bentley cannot see or hear about the Incredibles without saying something about going to the movie theater.

I got all the kid's school shopping done from shoes to school supplies. It's nice that it's done! We were also able to get the 2 recalls on our van fixed. We were told it would take a special technician, ordering of parts, and over 6 hours to complete in Lubbock so we've been trying to figure out how to get it done. Thankfully, we called the dealership and they asked if we could drop the van off that same day and it would be finished in 2 hours!! It was such a relief to get that done! Kenney was also able to get his eyes checked so that was another out of town trip saved for us!

Laser Tag

On Wednesdays there is all you can play laser tag that Papa Dude and Daddy wanted to take the boys to.  They took them right after lunch and played for a few hours.  The boys were a little apprehensive at first, but had fun.  They wanted to go back after dinner and were super excited!  They were running around all over the place and taking adults out left and right!  Even little Radley did really well.  Kenney and Jason said there was a lot of running around for the 15 minute games and was for sure a workout!  In the afternoon it was mostly kids and teenagers, but after dinner there were a lot of adults.  After one group came out, they said, "We just got beat by some little kids!"  By the time all was said and done, they played over $400 worth of laser tag that day.  Thankfully it only cost $10 per person for the entire day!
It was a blacklit course so their clothes kinda glowed and the vests turned white when they got shot.
All ready to play!!
Playing on the games in between laser tag rounds.
One round Kenney got stuck on the red team which wasn't the boys' team.  There were 13 on the blue team and only 5 on the read team.  Kenney got first place and his team won.  He was pretty stoked!
Damon's serious face, haha!!
The vests were so big on them!!
Glowing in the dark with Daddy.
Serious about this laser tag stuff.
This kid was worn out when they got home!!!

Ready to play!

Spoiled Little Girl

Bentley probably had the best time of anyone in Missouri.  She had so many people willing to help her and spoil her.  With Oma, Papa Dude, and Zadi around, Bentley never lacked for attention.  She had a really hard time potty training, and it was incredibly frustrating.  She got treats, new shoes and dresses, special drinks, snacks galore, and so much more.  She can't wait to go back!

She showed off her femininity with her poses and twirls and fashion shows.   And of course so fooled everyone into thinking she was a sweet little girl!!

Yard Ninja

Papa Dude's Yard Ninja game wins again.  Everyone has fun playing this game!  Bentley was hilarious and scary to watch.  You never knew where she was going to throw her wooden dowel.  There was some healthy competition and trash talking but mostly a lot of fun!

Getting it all set up
Papa Dude trying to explain to Bentley how to play and what to do.
Her poses are the best!!  Hands on her hips!
Kyler taking his turn very seriously.
Damon also very thoughtful.
Radley always trying so hard.
Bentley's awesome form.
It was really scary when she had both hands full and you weren't quite sure which hand would release!!
They wanted to beat Papa Dude so bad.
Radley did really well keeping up with big kids.

She did knock one ninja over to everyone's surprise.  It was actually funny how close she could get one time and how far off in the next throw.
Damon's excitement!

Her face, haha
They won!!! (That particular game)
So much emotion!!

Daddy helping out one round.

Kyler and Damon getting lucky and knocking some down!

Bentley's signature style!

Date Night

One of my favorite parts of going to Missouri is Oma and Papa Dude's willingness to watch the kids so Kenney and I can go out.  We were able to go to dinner and a movie.  It was the first time Kenney and I had been to the fancy theaters with recliners too (ours didn't have butt warmers so we aren't entirely spoiled like Kyler).  I have to say it was nice!!

Ready for the movie to begin!

And welcome home to temperatures of 108!!!  Can't say we really missed Texas!
