Rainy Days and End of Sept

The end of September was full of rainy days. It was great! I loved having full rainy/cloudy days since we don't get them very often. It was fun for the kids too because it wasn't some crazy thunderstorm keeping them from playing in the rain. Bentley and Radley played outside in the morning, and when the other two got home from school they all went out together. They had a blast; I had a lot of laundry!!

Jumping in puddles
Trying to make a huge splash
They weren't quite in sync!!
Slipping and sliding on the trampoline
Radley was trying to fly across the trampoline.

They loved jumping around in the rain!!

Kenney was really impressed that when it was our turn to clean the church we had help from men that were in their late 80's and 90's, but they were still willing to do all they could.  It was great to see, and I hope our kids remember this!
That day we took the kids to McDonalds for working hard at the church and a thunderstorm came through.  It was kinda funny because there had been news about strong winds from the hurricanes pretty far inland.  They were making a big deal about 40MPH winds which is a very common things around here.

The winds were pretty impressive, but nothing out of the ordinary for us.

Johnny Appleseed day involved making treats for Damon's class, but it turned out to be a FHE activity/treat too!
Bentley just kept sneaking M&Ms
Gross!!
This was Kyler's creation, and he ate the entire thing, licking the napkin!!  And yet he thinks most dinners I make don't taste good!!

Red Faces

At dinner one night Kyler said, "Daddy look I can make my face really red."  He then proceeded to do this:

I'm not sure where he got this idea but it was hilarious.  I almost lost it when he sucked the snot back up!!

Not to be left out Damon had to try too! I thought his eyes might pop out!!

Poor Radley attempted too, but just didn't quite get the concept.

Bentley can also make a red face, haha!!

Friday Night Football

Football is becoming increasingly more important in our house. The boys actually like to watch it and are beginning to understand the game and rules much more. Damon is especially obsessed with football. It was actually fun taking them to a game this year! Well Bentley wasn't too excited about, maybe because she knows there is a lot more football in her future, but she had fun for the first half! We went to the Wellington/Childress game in Childress on their new turf field. Apparently it was a big deal which side we were going to sit on, but we all wore red and sat on the Wellington side. Damon was really bummed we didn't win the game but had a great time anyway.
The new 1 million dollar field!

Look at #53.  That guy is huge!!  He's almost 7 feet tall and just a monster of a guy!

Our selfies def need some work!

Random Moments

Radley's tricks
He put together a puzzle and then picked it up.
Bentley is hiding in the box waiting to scare Daddy.
Crazy hair!
Kyler caught a butterfly one morning before church and kept all through the entire drive and first hour of church.
I think Kenney was surprised that I would play knock out with the boys so he had to video it and take pictures!!

Thunderbirds Air Show

We had a busy and fun Saturday! It started off with a parade in Wellington and booths at the park. Then we had lunch and went to Altus Air Force Base to watch an air show. It was a lot of amazing! The Thunderbirds did a show which was awesome. It is amazing to see those jets fly so close together and so precisely. They had a kid section with bounce houses and a rock climbing wall, so we played there after the show. There were lots of big Air Force planes we could have gone inside and different simulators, but we didn’t have enough time. All the flyers said it would be open until 6pm, but they started closing everything at 5. It was pretty disappointing, but we still had a great time. Then Daddy entertained the kids at the Halloween section of Walmart while I got groceries.

Waiting impatiently for some CANDY!!!
It got so boring they had to shut out the world for a little while with bags on their heads!!
I thought this was a pretty good float for little ol' Wellington.
Bentley wasn't the biggest fan of the air show.  It was a little long and loud for her taste.
Kyler thinks he's pretty cool with his shades!
This is Kyler's Maui face.  It's from the movie Moana which we have watched no less than 100 times because of Bentley.

The plane in the back shot through those other two planes so fast!
I'm pretty sure I would have thrown up if I was in the plane leaving that trail!

5 planes zooming off in different directions.
They would get so close!!
Wow!!
Jumping around in the bounce houses.  I think Bentley made all the people monitoring them because she was so little, but we let her in with bigger kids.  She handled herself just fine!!
Kyler climbing the rock wall.  I think he would have done much better if he wasn't trying to go so fast, but he did really well.  Don't ask about the horrible socks!!  He would wear thigh high socks if he had them.
He got pretty high, but not quite to the top.
Damon was not about to let this opportunity be passed up!  He did well too!
Kyler and Radley next to one of the many planes they had all over.
Damon by one of the planes.
They had some huge planes!  It was amazing how big they were.
Haha!!!  Radley!
Kyler
I don't know what it is about Radley in these masks, but I think he is so funny wearing them!
Kyler doesn't have to put on an act to be like an old man.  He's pretty good in his own!

Here are a few short videos of the air show. I like listening to the boys commentating in the background!
