Cousin Time After Christmas

I didn't get a lot of pictures while the cousins were around, but one of our favorite parts about after Christmas is when the Payne family comes to visit. We, as parents, don't have to do much to entertain any of the kids and there's usually not much refereeing either. The kids all get a long really well, and it's so nice!! It's even better because Kenney and I to have friends around too!!

Bentley loves her Uncle Brock!  He's especially sweet to let her lay on him while trying to watch football!!
Peek-a-Boo
Posing with the coyote that was shot.
These boys love hanging out no matter what they are doing or where they are, and it's so fun to watch.

Christmas Day

Christmas morning was nice and quiet with just our family. The kids were so excited and separated all the presents before we even got out of bed at 7am. They didn't even look through their stockings!!

Everyone watching Bentley open her first gift.
They all surrounded her so I couldn't get a good picture of her!
Radley!!

Damon so excited!!
The cinnamon rolls that took way too long to  make, and Kenney's Simply Orange that he gets every year.
We had some fun playing Speak Out with Kacy.
Kyler was hilarious playing this game!
LOL!!

This is when Kenney and I first walked out.

Kyler learning how to fly his drone.

Playing Speak Out was a lot of fun!!

Christmas Eve

We had a full Christmas Eve that started at church. I'm sad I didn't get a picture in our Christmas best, but we did look nice a one point during the holidays!! After church we headed to Kevin and Kerry's to make some cinnamon rolls for the next morning. Unfortunately, they didn't work so we had to try again later in the day. We headed to Nanny & Papa's for their annual Christmas Eve 'party.' After Santa visited and we ate tons of food, we headed back to Kevin and Kerry's to try the cinnamon rolls one more time. Then we went to Nana & Papa's house to act out the Nativity and open one present before heading home.

Typical Christmas Eve at Nanny's: full of people, esp kids, Santa, and the Cowboys playing in the background.
Damon telling Santa he wanted a dog for the third year in a row.
Kyler wanted a drone.
Bentley didn't want anything to do with Santa.  Even when he tried to hand her a present she pushed it away and wouldn't take it.

She was really happy once she opened her present and found a barbie with fancy pink shoes.
I couldn't hear what Radley told Santa, but he asked him for a Buzz Lightyear that lights up and talks.
So excited about her candy and her doll.
I loved that they put on Santa hats to open their gifts!!!
Getting ready for the Nativity.  Kyler a shephard, Damon a wiseman, and Radley was Joseph.
Bentley was all excited to be an angel and wear a pretty dress, but then decided she didn't want to wear the dress anymore.
The whole cast
Taking a bow after they finished.
Getting ready to exchange gifts they got for one another.
Bentley opening a present from Kyler.
She was so excited.
Radley and Damon exchanged presents.
Damon's cool remote control car that flips.
Kyler got a present from Bentely.
All ready for Santa to come!
"Mom take my picture!"  This was after I took one and his eyes were closed, so he made sure that his eyes stayed opened.

This is just video of the kids opening the gifts they got for one another. It's kinda long.

SNOW!!! (Day)

The next morning the snow was still there so we headed back out in the snow! Daddy had to help someone, so he wasn't around to play, but they lasted longer than I thought they would as cold as it was without snow clothes!

Yes, he's always this crazy!
Trying to hit me over and over.
Teaching Bentley how to get Mom too!
We got a good inch and half, and it was so pretty.
Even thought they ran through all the snow the night before it still covered everything.
Damon taught Bentley how to eat the snow too.
Radley trying it out.  He wasn't as big of a fan as Damon and Bentley were.
The King of eating snow.
I couldn't believe how much snow she would eat.
Kyler tried so hard to build a snowman the night before and continued to have issues the next morning.  The snow wasn't super sticky, but he mostly had problems trying to put the face on it.
Teamwork
Damon does 3 things in the snow: lay in it, throw it, or eat it!!
The finished product!
He thought it needed a hat.
Learning from the best!
She ate so much snow her face turned red!
Later that day we met up with the family at the lake house, and the kids got rides with Uncle Kaden on the 4-wheeler.  Unfortunately, the snow was all gone.
This girl really needs a nap still!

These crazy kids just ran around falling and laying in the snow. I can only imagine how much fun they would have with drifts of snow.
