Hanging Out at Home

I was getting in trouble for not updating the blog so I found some random pictures of the boys doing nothing exciting, just being normal!

Radley loves to look at pictures of himself.  I tried so hard to get a good picture of him in this hat, and the only way he would sit still while the camera was out was to sit and look at pictures of himself!

He ran around almost all day wearing this hat!

He was so goofy!

These boys have been going without shirts a lot lately.  If one takes their shirt off, the others follow suit!

Sweet Kyler

Cooperative Damon

Innocent Radely with Damon's fingers creeping on the top.

Sometimes  Damon can give a nice smile, but he was mostly just showing off his dog.

Kenney got this red nose at work, and the boys thought it was funny.

I didn't think he would put it on, but he did!  Radley wouldn't wear it and pulled it in half once he got it!  It lasted about 5 minutes in our family!!

He was being so weird running around with the hat on and acting crazy!

Damon can play with just about anything. These puzzles pieces belong to a puzzle book on Ninja Turtle puzzles. He took all the pieces out and made them start fighting. I don't know how he comes up with this stuff!

Everyday Happenings

Nothing too eventful or exciting has happened lately, but these are a few of our everyday happenings! They have been trying to get every chance possible to be outside, and I can't blame them. The weather has been great and we are all a little too cramped in our apartment.

The boys have been rather obsessed with my phone lately, especially Radley.  However, Kyler loves the camera.  I find all kinds of new pictures on my phone, like this beauty!
This is Damon's newest trick.  He likes to climb on top of the van, using Radley carseat as leverage.  He doesn't even climb from the front of the car.  I think other parents think I'm crazy!  I guess this goes along with Radley now climbing up on the kitchen counters!!  Yea for me!!
These have been the hit toy for the weekend.  Shandi and Chris wanted to get Kyler some Lego guys for his birthday, so Kenney and I went to Wal-Mart to get some.  Well, one guy was $3.97!!  We thought that was crazy expensive.  We got on ebay and found all 20 of these guys for $5.88 with shipping!!  Much better!
Playing baseball with cousins one afternoon.  These boys take any chance they can get to go outside and play.  We usually attract most of the neighbor kids too, but this was during the day when the kids were at school.

Can you tell how much Damon loves to get his haircut??? Yeah he hates it, and we hate giving him a haircut! I'm hopeful for less dramatics one day, but I think it will be a while!!

Radley has been learning new tricks, including riding the scooter. He loves it!

He also loves to play baseball. He wants to hit baseballs all the time and wants us to pitch to him inside.

Easter

We found plenty to do for Easter this year. There were egg hunts all over town. We went to a church that advertised eggs, bouncy castles, and a train ride. I think we made a good choice because the boys had a ton of fun! On Easter Sunday I forgot to take any pictures of their Easter baskets, but they got spoiled. Thanks to Easter packages and a nice man at the gym, we didn't have to contribute anything to the baskets!! They were full without us having to even add candy. It was fantastic! The Friday before Easter the farmer from the gym, that showed us his farm one day, brought the boys a helicopter, tanker and police suv that all made lots of noise and had flashing lights. He also got Kenney and I a really pretty Lilly plant. It was so sweet and unexpected! We were able to get with some friends to have a really good Easter dinner, ribs and all! It was great. We also had another egg hunt and celebrated a birthday for their friend who's birthday was on Easter. Holidays are so much better with kids!
This was Radley's favorite blowup to play.  He like to shoot the baskets.
They all liked to hit the baseballs.
They love to jump!
Just a little under the ball.
The boys didn't need any direction with this egg hunt!
Radley wasn't scared this time.  He actually picked up eggs, but he just wasn't fast about it!
Damon was all excited he got the blue barrel...
Until he realized that his other brothers didn't get a barrel.  He was really sad and refused to enjoy the ride.
The next ride Kyler found a green barrel, and he was set!
Damon was kind enough, shockingly, to let Radley ride with him the next time around.
Proof that Damon can be sweet sometimes!!
We had so many eggs between all the eggs hunts.
This was the egg hunt on Easter Sunday.  I still can't believe they are all kind of looking at the camera.

Radley was a pro by this time! There's nothing special about the video, just memories!

The Rodeo

We got free tickets to the rodeo one weekend, so we decided to take the family to something new. There was a children's rodeo before the real rodeo began, but we didn't make it in time to do any of the children's part, unfortunately. We weren't sure if the boys would be entertained by the rodeo stuff, but we were pleasantly surprised!  We stayed for the whole thing.  I can't say they were eager to stay once it was over, but there were no major meltdowns, so it was a success!!
We didn't get to see the kid stuff, but they still got these cute little numbers.
The SWAT team made quite an entrance by repelling from the ceiling.  It was pretty cool because no one even knew they were up there!
The grand entrance
The Texas Flag
Of course I didn't have the camera out when the boys got on the big screen, but they were dancing like crazy to get up there before the rodeo began.  They actually made it up there twice!
Kyler trying to get family picture of us.
Attempt number 2!
I didn't use the better lens, but I got a few pictures.
I think Kenney got a few of the better pictures, but our battery died before the end.
The dancing may be better in the video I put on Instagram, but this one has Radley dancing too!

I haven't seen 'Bull Fighting' at a rodeo. I don't know if it's just been a long time since I've been to a rodeo or what, but it was pretty entertaining. The boys liked it too!
