Silly Kids

These kids are crazy and fun. Here are a lot of pictures of Radley being goofy. I also started watching Kendra's baby. She is the PTA that works with Kenney, and her daycare spot was available until later, so I volunteered to watch him for a couple months. He's the sweetest baby. Radley and Bentley love having him here, and all the kids are really good with him. It's weird having a baby around the house again.

He falls asleep in the funnies positions in the car.

Selifies in always tend to find on my phone.

Two sleeping babies.
They always have to hold baby Owen.
She really does love Owen unless she wants my undivided attention; then she tells me to put him down.

This is Bentley helping me make dinner. Usually she just climbs on the counter and eats all my ingredients. Here she is making a dramatic show of eating cheese. I'd like the say the dramatics are rare, but they are definitely the normal with her.

Egg Hunt @ Home

After Kyler's baptism, we all headed to the gym to watch Kyler and Damon play in their last basketball game. They had so much family support it was crazy. Almost all the Keys family that lives in Childress was there and all my side that came for the baptism. It was awesome! We got some lunch, headed to the store, and then hung out at the house the rest of the day. While we made dinner, Shandi got some eggs ready to do an egg hunt.

This girl had fun gathering eggs, but I have to say, she's much slower than her brothers!!
Discovering their treasure.
Shandi snuck in some carrots to some of the eggs; Kyler wasn't too happy about it!
Both of their faces, hahaha
The hunt begins...
Looking everywhere
Kyler couldn't run very fast on the hard ground without shoes.
Georgie caught on real fast and wasted no time gathering eggs!
Speedy Gonzalez
The kids had quite crowd watching.
Filling the eggs and hiding them was much easier than getting a picture of all the kids looking at the camera.

Later that night we had a dance party with all the kids. It evolved into a booty shaking party with scantly dressed children...

Kyler's Baptism

It is still hard to believe that Kyler was baptized! He has been looking forward to this for a long time, and we have been talking about it as a family. The other kids were excited for him too. We were blessed to have so much family attend and many that wished they could have come but weren't able to make it.  We had all the Keys family that lives in Childress as well as Oma, Papa Dude, and Zadi drive in along with The Barney family.

The baptism itself went great!  I had talked with Kyler about setting up the program and what assignments he wanted to give.  Unfortunately for me, he asked me to give the talk on baptism.  Daddy got off easy and only had to perform the baptism and confirmation!!  Papa Dude gave the talk on the Holy Ghost, and several other family members were able to contribute too.  Damon even gave the closing prayer!  We weren't sure if he would do it once he saw all the people there, but he did great!  There was a special spirit there, and it was an amazing experience.

We had a few muffins and orange juice once it was over, but we had to rush through everything because Kyler and Damon had a basketball game that all of the family was able to go to.  We had a great weekend and felt incredibly blessed.
Kyler and his Daddy who baptized him.
So ready and excited!
Our attempt at a family photo, not too shabby!
The proud parents!
This is the invitation that we sent out to friends and family, but Kyler also wanted to pass them out to friends and teachers at school.  I asked him how many he wanted, and he said he wanted 30 or 40 of them.  I thought there was no way he would actually need that many.  However he shocked me.  If I would have given him 30 I have no doubt he would have given all of them out.  He was so excited about getting baptized, and he wanted everyone to know about it and come!

Sara & Robbie's Wedding

The wedding was great! We are so glad we made it. The boys weren't thrilled with their ties, but they wore them all day. Bentley loved her pretty dress that Oma made.  The sealing was shorter than any sealing we have ever been to.  My mom, Shandi, and I were all able to go in the bridal room to help get her dressed.  She looked beautiful!  Her dress was gorgeous, and she was so happy.  Thankfully for all of us, the pictures went quickly.  We then headed to the reception to get final preparations done.  The food was great and everyone did a great job on decorations.  It was fun being with all the family.

The kids couldn't wait to get back to the hotel to swim in the pool!  Damon had started to get a headache when he was playing at the church and fell asleep in the car.  As soon as we walked into the hotel room, he threw up all over!!  All we could think was oh no another sick kid.  He perked right back up after throwing up so we didn't think it was the same thing Bentley had.  We went to the pool after the mess got cleaned up.  We brought a bowl with us just in case, but Damon was doing all kinds of belly flops and back busters.  He was swimming around with everyone else having a blast!!  The kids loved being able to play with Papa Dude and Daddy in the pool.

We got back to the room, had pizza and ice cream and just enjoyed being with one another.  Damon just fell asleep without eating, but we were on edge thinking any of the kids could throw up at any time.  Thankfully all the kids stayed healthy and our drive back was smooth!  The boys played the license plate game on the way home and really enjoyed it.
My favorite picture of the day!

Giving Nanny a hug & Damon really taking in Sara's dress.  He stared at it for a long time!
Playing outside before and during the reception.
Trying to get a cute picture.
She was so tired afterwards she just fell asleep on my lap.  This hardly ever happens!

The Drive to Nashville

We started off spring break with Kyler's birthday, and a sick Radley. We knew we were headed to Dallas so we decided to take the kids to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate. Radley got a fever and was out of commission for a few days, but didn't have any other symptoms. On Wednesday Bentley came down with a fever but no other symptoms. Thursday morning, the day we were headed out, Bentley threw up at breakfast. It was mostly mucus so we didn't think too much of it. We loaded the car and headed to Dallas after lunch. However, around 4:00 Bentley threw up in the car. Ugh!!! Puke in the car is the worst! We knew we needed to stop a the closest store and try and find some kind of a bowl because Bentley refused to hold a bag to throw up in.

We made it to Walmart where Bentley threw up all over herself, me, and the middle of the isle.  We tried to clean it up as best as we could and waited around after telling 3 different employees about the mess, but no one ever came.  It was so frustrating, and we finally just left.

We got to Chuck E. Cheese, and Bentley was still throwing up.  We tried to make the most of it and let the others play.  The boys had a blast and loved the games.  Bentley wanted to eat and drink everything in sight, so we had to leave.  We made it to Shandi's and tried to clean everything up.  After bathes and a load of laundry, we got everyone to bed.  Bentley continued to throw up, but began swallowing everything rather than letting it come out.  Her stomach couldn't settle because she wouldn't let anything out!!  It was so frustrating trying to convince a 2 year old that she needed to spit it all out.  Then around 3:00 am she woke up which I was slightly aware of and found the diaper bag, got her water cup, and started chugging water!!!! Keep in mind she has never been to this house before, but she was aware enough to go find some water! UGH!!  I ran as fast as I could to make her stop but not before she drank a decent amount.  It was a long night!

We weren't sure if we should keep going, but for whatever reason we did.  Bentley threw up a few more times, but mostly just screamed... for about 3 hours straight.  We stopped four times before lunch which is a new record for us.  We hate stopping and try to avoid it at all costs.  We tired to get some Sprite to calm her stomach, tired switching drivers so she wasn't screaming at me the whole time, cleaned up puke, etc, etc, etc.  When we stopped for lunch we were really questioning our sanity.  We got the boys some burgers, and Bentely wanted those and the drinks.  We didn't give them to her so she stared screaming again.  Kenney and I then took turns walking around with her crying outside.

After lunch she finally took a nap.  She woke up completely healed!  Seriously she was fine after that.  She stared eating and kept everything down.  The drive itself really wasn't bad.  The boys did great.  We went through a horribly named town called Arkadepliha, Arkansas.  Who names a town that?  Anyway, we were extremely happy to get to the hotel with our fingers crossed no one else would get sick!
Our sick baby girl.
All the boys racing.
Kyler helping a brother out.
First place finish!!
Creepy Chuck E. Cheese and a photo-bomber.
The tiniest air hockey table.
Finally asleep!!  And yes I know her straps were not in the right place, but that wasn't a battle I was willing to fight at that moment in time!

This is just a sample of what we dealt with for 3 hours!!!

Altus Basketball Tournament

The Altus league ended with a week long double elimination tournament. We made several trips to Aluts, but the boys played their best basketball of the season!! It was really fun to watch. We played a really tough team that was extremely rough and fouled a lot. We lost to that team 3 times during the season (twice during the tournament) for only 3 points!!  It was really frustrating, but our boys got 2 place overall!!  Their coach also bribed them with ice cream to keep winning so that was fun for them!
That's some big ice cream for a big mouth!
These boys played so hard!!
My 2 favorite players!!

Here are a few highlights from both the boys.

We Definitely Have a Girl

This girl this girl!!! She has the posing down! Neither Kenney nor I can understand where she has learned all of her feminine habits and traits. It is so instinctual in her! Here are a few pictures and examples of her being pretty girly!

Showing Daddy how pretty she was before church.
Cheesing with her brothers.
The big cheese!
What girl doesn't know how to take a selfie these days??  I find new ones almost every day.

This girl loves to show off and think everything is pretty.  She is not a cute girl; she is a pretty girl!

Her baseball skills need some work, but look at that run!!

She even stopped to pick some flowers after her hit!

She knows how to work that hair while she's trying to eat cheese!  And yes, I try every day to keep her clothed and her hair fixed, but when we are at home this is her definition of comfort!!
