It has been so nice to get so much rain. We went to bed one night and woke up the next morning thinking there had been a lot of rain, but were still shocked when we saw that we had gotten 3 inches of rain at our house! We later learned that some surrounding areas got 5+ inhces of rain!! That's crazy for around here. Kenney and the kids drove around to see what the rain had done.

They drove out to the country club road because we were told that the road had been washed out.
The could hear the frogs really well, but they also spotted one by the road.
The boys' favorite day of the school year happened this year, thankfully! The all did amazingly well. I'm not sure if they will always shine this much against their peers, but it is so fun to watch! They also had their Payne cousins there watching and cheering them on as well as Nana, Papa, and Aunt DeeAnne.

Kyler finished his elementary track career on a super high note: All 1st place finishes!! Most of the finishes weren't even close! He did awesome!

Damon
Damon pretty much dominated his grade also! His only second place was in the soft ball throw. He competed against the other super fast kid in his grade and won every time. It was really helpful when both those boys were on the same relay!

Radley
Radley did amazing too! He had one second place finish in the relay. His class struggled, but he ran his hardest and made up some ground at the end. He had such a fun day!
While my mom was here, she needed to look for some papers Nanny needed for the assisted living. She came across all these letters, pictures, and papers from when my Granddady was serving in the Korean war. It was so fun to go through and read what she found and what he wrote to my Nanny.
I always remember him calling her 'Baby' so it was fun to see him use that name so frequently.

We had almost all of our mothers around for Mother's Day this year! It was fun being able to see everyone and spend time with them. We did our traditonal chocolate covered strawberries and made several deliveries. It was strange but fun to have Nanny and Oma eat dinner with us on Mother's Day too!
