Memorial Day at the Lake

We made our annual trip to the lake in Altus for Memorial Day. Thankfully it didn't get too hot, but it was quite windy. The boys all got a turn on the tube and had fun with Papa and their cousins on the boat. Bentley took a 2 hour unexpected nap which was awesome!! Kenney tried out a paddle board and did amazing. And I got my Braum's ice cream at the end of the day!! Win-win for all of us!

Bentley got some sunscreen in her eyes and kept them shut for the first part of the day.  I couldn't get a picture with her eyes open!!
They played in the water for hours.

Nice diving form Damon, haha!
Cannon Ball
Damon taking a ride on the tube.
Getting a little more brave and going faster.
Ready for his turn.
Holding on tight!!
Catching some air!
Radley's first time on the tube.  He was a nervous but had some fun.
They got some air too!
There's that smile.
Jumping in the lake while we switched riders.
Going under
Not so sure about being in the middle of the lake 'swimming'

Damon on the way back in, thoroughly enjoying himself, not!
This was Bentley's favorite part of the lake...snacks and drinks!
Cary Shane and Diana got a paddle board and let everyone take a turn.
Bentley loved it when Avery showed up.
Damon of course couldn't sit still during his ride; he was moving all over the place.
I could not get this kid to smile!!!
Carter holding on to Kenney's feet, haha!!  That kid is so much more cautious than our boys!!
Gotta love the Pierce posture on Kyler.
Kyler did this about 100 times throughout the day.
Bentley and I took a leisurely paddle too.

Pioneer Park & Fishing

We made our first trip to Pioneer Park this summer. The kids had a blast. We planned to meet friends, but they got there late of course.  It didn't bother the kids because they played together.  Bentley especially loved it because the water was perfect for her.

That night Daddy took the boys fishing at Papa's cabin.  They LOVED it; Daddy had a lot of work.  Each of the boys caught 2 fish and had many more hung and tangled lines.  Papa came out and took the boys on the boat that evening.  Damon tried to start the boat and drive it himself while everyone else fishing in the dark!!  They didn't end up going to bed until 11:30 that night.

It was fun watching them get along and play so well together.
Splash, splash, splash
Kids running everywhere.
Trying to float on her back.
Oops!  All the way under.
Radley ended up catching the biggest fish.  He got a 2lb bass that he reeled in all by himself!
Kyler the most impatient fisherman!!
Making sure Papa Keys didn't have any fish biting off the dock!

Busy boys fishing!!

Oh Bentley!

This girl definitely keeps us on our toes!! She is always up to something if it's quite and she's not around. Her mannerisms crack us up and are so incredibly feminine it's hilarious. She is one busy little body.

"Take my picture. Cheese!" And yes, this is a normal 'outfit' for her.
Always trying to do everything I do, including makeup.
And curling her eyelashes even though she will probably never have to actually curl hers because they are so full and long.
I left the room to warm up a bottle for the Baby Owen for 5 minutes.  In that time, Bentley was able to almost completely cover her body in marker!!
She was quite proud of herself.
"Mom, I pretty."
She was the best little patient at the dentist.  We didn't plan on having her teeth cleaned, but the hygienist wanted to take advantage of Bentley's interest.
After the boys all had turns, Bentley said it was her turn and hopped right up in the chair and kept her mouth wide open throughout the entire cleaning!!  I was floored!
She let the hygienist scrape and polish all her teeth.  She even caught on to the suction to wash out her mouth.
Bentley's first swollen and bloodied nose.
The next day it was still quite swollen.
Thankfully the bruising never got darken than this, so she didn't look too beat up!

Here are some videos to go along with the pictures.

Damon's Track Meet

Damon has been looking forward to the track meet since the first day of school. He was beyond excited!! This boy LOVES to compete!! Pretty sure he comes by that naturally. He never got tired and did great in all his events. He was anxious and ready for the relay most of all. Thankfully he got 1st place! I think the day ended too quickly for him, but he was happy Nana and Papa could come see him.
