Outdoor Movie & More

We had popsicles before the movie started waiting for it to get dark.
We never miss an occasion to play football with the Payne's.
Bentley needed some extra support from Brek, haha
It was dark enough; we didn't need the kids up until 11pm
What's a movie without popcorn?!?
It finally got dark enough.
Found a large and forgotten zucchini in the Barlow's garden.
"It's heavy!"
Mackenzie discovered she liked to mark on herself.
Nanny watching while we moved boxes out of the moving truck.
Or maybe she was directing.
Kyler built a lot of different safes out of Legos this summer.  He made this one for all of his money.  He also built a lot of vending machines that were pretty cool.
The drawing got a little intense one night while we thought she was asleep.  She had it everywhere.  I love how she's hiding her face in shame, haha
Mackenzie had her teeth cleaned for the first time and did amazing!  Her and Bentley both started really young and did a great job.  It's really weird how much our kids enjoy going to the dentist.

Crazy June

Radley turned 8!!!
Oma, Papa Dude, and Zadi moved to Wellington.  It's still weird, a good weird, that they live in the same town as us!
There were extra kids at our house all summer long.  This was a very usual appearance!
Kelli put both these babies to sleep during Come Follow Me, or it might have been my lesson that did it.
I love that they fell asleep holding hands
Caught the girls like this one day.  Bentley was doing Mackenzie's hair.
They caught me taking pictures.
I hope they always get along like this.
One of the fun activities at the library.  This girl put on a great show with all of her hand puppets.

Paris Texas

The kids, especially the boys were super excited to go see the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Texas. On our way home we stopped by to take a look. In the car the kids could see the destination on the GPS and thought for sure they would be able to see it from far away. They were all pretty disappointed when we finally arrived. Their expectations were way too high! Although the tower did indeed look similar in structure to the real Eiffel tower, the magnitude and detail were most definitely missing!  They still enjoyed walking around and taking pictures.
The Barney's were with us too!
Gotta make it 'Texan' with the cowboy hat.
Yes, my boys climbed on it, beginning with Damon.
Nope, we can't get pictures without the kids, haha.
She wanted a picture by herself!
This kid was super bummed about the tower.  He picked France for his country last summer and gets excited about all things French.  He assured me when he makes it in the NFL, he'll take me to the real thing in Paris, FRANCE!
It looks big compared to Mackenzie!

Lively Reunion

We had a great time with the Lively side of the family at a fun house outside of Paris, Texas. It was a great house with a pool table, air hockey, swimming pool, fishing pond, and more. The kids had a blast with so many things to do. Shandi and Sara brougt even more fun with a bubble machine, games, dinosaur eggs, and more. We all had a great time and enjoyed our time together. We really missed Emma Wren and whished she could have joined us too, but maybe we'll see her soon. Papa Dude wasn't feeling too great, so that was kinda sad, but he made the most of it for how bad he felt. We ventured to a lake one day and swam there and got a visit from Mammy and PawPal and Kyra. It was great to see them too!
Started off our trip with a Slurpee from Nanny.  The kids were stoked!!

Very happy about her drink
Stop to eat and play
They jumped into the pool as soon as they could.  Those are some really effective goggles, haha!
Aunt Sara brought her nail stuff to share which all of us girls loved!  Mackenzie was really good about letting the polish cure.

The horse was quite the hit, especially for Zadi, lol.  She kept the horse fed while we were there, and the kids all got a turn to pet him.
So many pretty lily pads on the pond.
These two were a lot of fun to watch.  They really loved to walk around the edge of the pool without floaties, but they also loved to swim!
Nothing better than popsicles in the pool!
Oma got a lot of lovin'
There was definitely some video game playing too, it got really hot during the middle of the day with the high humidity.
Kyler loved playing pool with Papa Dude and Papa Dude's dad.  There was a lot of trash talking and learning going on.  It was fun to watch and listen to.  The pool table got a lot of attention from all of us.
He really got pretty good and spent a lot of time working on it.
The slip-n-slide was really fun for Mackenzie!
Bentley got that one to squirt!!
Double fisting it!
Someone got Sara!!
Learned the double fisting from Kyler!
He's about to get someone!
Yep Dad got in the action too!
Radley figured out a strategy to get a way from everyone while keeping away from everyone else.
Someone got Kyler, haha!!!
He was left with a few marks!!
Catching some fish!
Paddling around
Biggest catch belongs to Kyler!!  It was a group effort to reel it in, but Kyler got the initial bite on his tiny pole.  They knew it was a big fish, but they never expected to get a 25lb catfish on the shore!
That fish brought smiles all the way around.
Kenney had a blast trying to get the fish in.  It took a while because it was caught on such a tiny pole, but they had such a good time.
I told the kids they could have a popsicle if they let me mark their noses with a pool stick.  All of them let me, haha!!
More treats!
Even more treats!!

Playing with a frog!

She gained some independence in the pool by jumping in all by herself.

She finally caught on to the counting and waiting until they said 3 to jump.

Damon loves playing with his little sister, and it's so fun to watch.

Bentley finally decided that she knew how to swim while she was there.  She didn't have to work very hard, but she gained the confidence she needed to go solo and hasn't looked back since!

Fun on the slip-n-slide!

Who doesn't love to throw water balloons?!?

The bubble machine was quite the hit for an indoor activity, especially when the music got going too.
