Bentley Eats Anything

While the older boys were at school on day, the other two and I took one last trip to the pool with the other little cousins. I didn't get much picture taking of the swimming, but Bentley was eating like crazy!! She really had a good time with the pickle!
The first week of school Damon had a bring a bag with four things about himself or things he liked.  He decided he wanted his blue dog because he loves blue and dogs, a car because he loves anything fast and loves to race, and a picture of Bentley.  I thought maybe a small book with a lot of family pictures (and several pictures of Bentley) would work, but he wanted the book and then another picture of just her!  He sure does love his little sister!!
Beautiful sky
She just reached over and grabbed the tomato I took off my sandwich!
She went to town on that tomato.  I was shocked, everything I handed to her she ate!
She moved on to the crust of the bread!  At one point she grabbed some bacon fat and wasn't phased a bit (I did take that away)!

Here is the video of Bentley eating a pickle. She had pickle juice and seeds everywhere by the end, but she was happy as could be!!

I forgot to film Damon's birthday interview on his birthday while we were in Montana, but here it is now.

First Day of School

August 22 school started for the boys! Damon was beyond excited. He kept telling us the day before that he was "so excited for school!" Damon got Mrs. Taylor as his teacher which is the same teacher Kyler had last year, and Kyler got Mrs. Patterson who seems especially sweet and kind. They both had a great first day and loved all the new things. Damon even wanted to go back the next day, so I took that as a good sign! Hopefully the year goes well, and we will have a successful school year!
Wow!!  My house was so quiet after this picture!
Radley didn't want to be left out.
He's getting so tall.
Our new 5 year old headed to Kindergarten.
He also wanted a picture like this.  Not quite sure why.

Goodbyes and Going Home

We had a really early flight leaving Montana so we took pictures with everyone the night before we left. Picture time is everyone's favorite (yeah right), but it worked out pretty well. The next morning was early, but we made it home without much fanfare. The kids did great considering the early start and we made it home before dark! We had a great time in Montana and miss everyone already!

For some reason, I had the hardest time trying to get a picture of these two!
Colin and Damon
Most of my siblings with my kids.
Grandma and Grandpa with everyone.
Logan and Bentley
Grandma and Grandpa with the grandkids.
Missing two siblings
That's our Logan (see why the kids love him??)
The parentals and myself
Sunrise view from the sky.
The sky was so pretty.
She was such a good little traveler!
Getting her turn at the window too!
Mesmerized!
The last plane we were on was a newer plane that had indiviual touch screens that had games, movies, TV shows, etc. for everyone!  The boys were in Heaven!!  Kyler especially!  He asked me why all planes don't have those.

Damon's 5th Birthday

Damon had a great birthday! We did so many things!! We went shooting in the morning, ate lunch, picked up my sister Haley from the airport, decorated a cake, went bowling, and had a party!!

Batman, I mean the birthday boy!
The requested Batman race car cake with 5 cars.
Grandma made sure there were plenty of Batman decorations too!
He was so excited!
We put some trick candles on his cake so that was fun to watch!
So happy!
He has been waiting for this day for a long time!!
They begged all day to do the pinata.
Logan was a good helper when boys were blindfolded.
Radley got some good whacks.
Wrong way Kyler!
Bentley was enjoying herself too!
And then Batman got decapitated before the candy fell out.
I love this picture!

Here is Radley trying to hit the pinata with a blindfold.

After the head fell off and we could no longer hand it from the tree, the big boys came to the rescue!
