Finding Things To Do

First time feeding the ducks.  They stayed up on the wall away from the ducks/geese/  Can't say I blame them; those geese were pretty aggressive.
This kid falls asleep so easily in the car and usually in the funniest positions!
Swinging like a big girl!  She seriously thinks she can do anything her brothers can do.
All three riding together while Kyler was doing piano lessons.
Damon always makes sure Bentley has somewhere to ride!  He really is so sweet to his sister.
"Mom take a picture of my tower!"

Easter Fun with Cousins

Any holiday is instantly better with cousins! The kids had a blast hanging out with all their cousins. We did a couple egg hunts together and had some good food too! There is never an excuse to be bored at any holiday in the Keys family; there is always someone to play with or cry with!
Our family on Easter Sunday at Kenney's brother's grave that died as a baby.
The kids at the grave.  We were really trying to teach the kids the reason for Easter and explain that because of Christ's resurrection we can be together forever.  We thought going to visit Conner's grave would give them a more personal connection to Easter.
And then Damon ruins any seriousness and lightens the mood with his pose.

One night Brock and Shayla made the trip out to see us!  The kids loved having the cousins at their house and the neighbors wanted in on the fun too!
Tyce won this huge lollipop at one of the egg hunts.
All the cousins getting ready for the big hunt.
Gentry followed Bentley around helping her do just about anything!
These 3 are hilarious!! Carter joins the fun most of the time too, but he didn't want to take a picture.
Another egg hunt!
While the eggs were being hidden, Aunt Kerry kept all the kids busy playing games and doing push-ups (as seen here).
She even made them do sit-ups and jumping jacks!  She made them work for those eggs!
Kyler trying to get baby Emma to smile.
All these boys!!! There were 7 little boys in the house and one little Bentley!  She better get tough fast!!

There are a lot of kids in this family!!

Thank goodness we had a lot of eggs.

Egg Hunts

By the time all was said and done, the kids had done 5 Easter Egg Hunts!! Wow, that's exhausting, and we have more candy that I thought possible! Bentley caught on really quick and loved all the candy.  Two of the egg hunts had prizes too which they loved.
Radley was really nervous and unsure before the first one started because he had to do it all on his own.  We had one kid in each of the 4 age groups leaving him without a brother!  He wouldn't pick up any eggs at first, but eventually he got an entire bucket full!
Damon looking over while he got some eggs.
He wasn't exactly thrilled, but after he started opening the eggs, he got really excited.
Such a prissy little girl carrying her eggs!
By the third egg hunt, Bentley was an expert and did not understand why we wouldn't let her go get the eggs she saw laying around.  See kept pointing at them trying to get us to take her over there!
"The eggs are right there!"
Her cute little curls!
Trying to be patient.
In the crowd hoping to get a t-shirt.
This hunt had candy and bubbles on the ground, so she lost interest in the eggs.
Examining her loot!
Comparing treasures
Confetti Egg!
BUBBLES!!
Sweet Damon
All the cousins waiting for prizes while opening all their eggs.
I love how she carries her bucket.  The boys have never carried theirs like that!
Radley's eggs!
She always finds Papa.
He immediately opens each egg!
Radley on the move getting eggs as fast as he can.
Damon going super fast!
So much concentration!
Oh Kyler, looking so much older!

This is Bentley at her first egg hunt.

Early April

Not much has been happening around here lately, but here are a few things we've been up to.

Bentley sneaking a taste of the cake while everyone was getting ready for the picture at Papa's 60th Birthday Party! Haha!
Papa and the grandkids
Kenney's birthday dinner with his favorite juice concoction, not pictured were the brownies and ice cream.  The artichoke was pretty good for my first time; the shrimp however needs some work!
Bentley brought her plate of food to Nanny and wanted her to help.
Bluebonnets!!  There aren't many wild flowers in this part of Texas, but one afternoon Kenney found some with the boys!
Unforantely, there were 40mph winds so the pictures weren't great!
Yeah, the wind was really bad!
Eating lunch with the boys at school.
Damon was so sweet and shared his ice cream with Bentley and Radley.
Kyler sat down with his lunch and the first thing he ate was his ice cream!  I guess I shouldn't be surprised!
Kyler getting excellent concentration while practicing the piano!  As soon as someone sits down to play the piano, Bentley runs over and has to play too!

Poor Kyler was trying to be good and practice piano, however Bentley and Damon thought they could 'help' him!
