Hanging Out with the Livelys

We hung around Missouri a few days before going to D.C. These is just a few of the things keeping the kiddos busy!

Bentley was fascinated with Louie and the cat.  Thankfully Louie was patient with her and let her grab and squeeze him.  The cat wasn't so friendly!
They had a game of horseshoes in the backyard, and Radley got a double ringer when I was out there with him!!
Kyler and Damon at a good time too, but didn't get quite as lucky as Radley.
Crazy boys in the backyard!

Pool Fun in Missouri

At the end of June, we headed to Missouri to spend some time with Oma and Papa Dude, Emma, and Zadi. Daddy wasn't able to come because we went on to D.C. for the 4th of July, and he wasn't able to take that much time off work. The first full day we were there we went to the city pool that had a lot of slides and fun water stuff. The boys had a blast and actually told me that this was the best part of the trip!! There were a lot of other highlights they mentioned too, but the pool was definitely at the top!!

Miss Bentley had fun in the water and didn't seem to mind that it was a little chilly.
Papa Dude was so fun to play with at the pool.
I thought it was funny that they always had to hold someone's hand if they were going down at the same time.
Radley was LOVING it!!
Look at this cute little girl!!
Getting Papa Dude right in the face.
He was completely outnumbered and unarmed, but he took it well!
Getting her feet wet!
One cool kid with goggles!!
Damon's face coming out of the slide, Hahahahaha!!!
There was always someone there to hold Bentley, and she didn't mind one bit!
Damon and Radley were quite the pair!  They had so much fun together.
Now that Kyler can swim, he thinks he's cool stuff!
Damon showing me how he can swim (he's still a work in progress, but he's getting better).
The best I could get of all 3

Radley's 3rd Birthday

It seemed like Radley had been 2 years old FOREVER so we were all anxious for this birthday!! He was so excited because he actually understood what a birthday meant this year, which made it really fun! On the 24th (his actual birthday) we went to see Finding Dory as a family. I don't think he was overly excited about going to the movie, but it was something different since we don't go that often. The other boys thought it was cool! The next day we had a family party with all the local cousins. It was also the first time Savanna and Kevin were able to be at a birthday party for our family so that was fun too.

Everyone that meets Radley loves him! He is a spunky, funny, crazy little boy. He randomly breaks out in dance, says the funniest things with a raspy deep voice for a toddler, loves his family dearly, and is pretty much happy all the time! Our family most definitely would not be complete without our Radley Bolt!

Damon convinced Radley he needed a race car cake, so I made this one, and I think he was happy with it.  If nothing else, he got 3 new cars out of it!!
He was really nervous with everyone looking at him and singing (he was picking his nose for most of the song), but he was really excited at the same time!
It took a few blows, but he got them!
The presents were all great.  He loved them all.
All the kids at the party!

He was pretty funny to watch while we sang to him. He didn't quite know what to do, but you can still tell he loved it!

Family Reunion (Part II)

Monday was a fun-filled day of activities!! We met everyone at the pool in Childress before lunch and had fun swimming. Savanna brought her GoPro camera to film everyone so the boys had fun showing off! After lunch was some down time and getting ready for pictures. Pictures didn't go to well (I'll leave it at that)!

When pictures and dinner were over we had a lot of fun games planned by the Payne's! The first game was drip-drip-poor on the trampoline. It was basically duck-duck-goose with cups filled with water. They poured little amounts on someone's head (the ducks) and then finally poured the rest (the goose) and chased one another. I didn't get any pictures, but they loved it. The next game was a soccer/hockey/lacrosse game with a beach ball and pool noodles. The kids and adults had a lot of fun playing that game. Next came the skits. Our family didn't participate, but it was fun to watch the other skits. We finally went inside and played some adult games while the kids watched Zootopia.

I would like to say we are looking forward to next year, but since we have to plan it that might not be entirely truthful!!  However, it will be fun to get everyone together again!  Thanks Payne family!

Radley enjoyed running around in the shallow part of the pool with Asher and Bruce.
Damon going down the twisty slide.
Bentley liked swimming better this time because there were a lot less people.

Kyler's "super high" cannon ball.
Bentley and I were a little tired after the pool.
Waiting on everyone for pictures.  Kyler's expression is very telling for how bad the picture taking would become!!
He was just fine til Damon took the spot that he wanted!
This was a super fun game that everyone enjoyed.
Kyler and Damon chasing the ball while Conner hit it.

Here is a portion of the kids vs kids playing the soccer/hockey/lacrosse game.

Movie night waiting on popcorn!
The rest of the crew!
The adults playing the Saran Wrap Candy Ball game.  It was a BLAST!
Kevin tackling Savanna for his turn.
On your turn you had to roll doubles, put on a hat, glasses and two oven mits before you could start trying to unwrap the ball to get to the candy.  Here is Kevin trying to unwrap it!

Family Reunion Part I

This past weekend was the Keys Family Reunion. All of Kenney's siblings (except Kaden who is on a mission) were in town. It was great to see everyone and spend time together. The boys had an absolute blast with all their cousins and enjoyed every minute (well maybe not the pictures)!

We started on Friday with the open house for Keyan and Kelli.  The women spent time decorating and getting finishing touches on everything while the kids went swimming with the men.  We went back, had dinner, and then got ready for the open house.  Everyone had a great time dancing and singing along to the music.

Saturday everyone came to our house for lunch and then headed to the WAV (the water park here in town).  Our boys were super excited to go to the WAV because they always point out the water slides when we drive by.  They all had so much fun.  Kyler was such a big kid going off the diving boards, down the water slides, and just running around with cousins.  Damon was kinda left out of the big stuff because he can't swim yet but didn't seem to mind too much, and Radley was happy as could be in the little kid area!

That evening we had a nice dinner and then the Tipa family came over for s'mores and marshmallows.  There were even more cousins to play with then!  Kids were everywhere!!

Brock and Shayla's boys came to hang out with us one day before the reunion, and Kyler was so excited when Tyce showed up wearing the same shirt that he had to go change clothes.  He even changed shorts so they would both have khaki cargo shorts!
These boys had so much fun together.  It's awesome when there is never any fighting!  It's like I don't even have to watch the kids, they all entertain each other!
And they always have to be goofy!
Not really part of the reunion, but I had to document our first official head laceration.  I am shocked it has taken us 6 years and 3 boys before it happened.  I am so happy this wasn't serious.  It bled pretty good, but wasn't a big deal.  After this happened (he had hit the bottom cabinets in the kitchen), he joined the other boys who had stacked the couch cushions and were jumping off them.  At one point, Kyler said, "Mom I think Radley's head is bleeding again."  Sure enough it had started to drip down his face.  Radley looked at me, wiped the drip of blood, and said, "It's not lot of blood.  It's ok!"  Haha! Obviously, he was fine!
The boys were all playing a game one day, and Bentley just crawled over and started watching them play.  It was so cute!
Radley and Asher had so much fun dancing at Keyan and Kelli's open house.  They loved it when Savanna would hold them and dance.
Bentley was loving watching everyone dance!
Kyler being grumpy because they weren't playing the songs he wanted, so he decided to just pout and cry!
Damon dancing around with Jax and Tyce.

Radley was so cute dancing around! He loves dancing and now had a big stage!

Kyler going down the big slide at the WAV.
He was so proud of himself after going down.  He even went off the high dive!  I was super impressed and had no idea he had so much gumption!

Here is the video of Kyler going down the slide. He even inspired some of his cousins to try it too!

Radley had a blast going down the slides and playing in the little kid area.
When Damon found out he couldn't do a lot of activities because he still needed floaties, he decided that he was going to learn how to swim that day!  He made some giant strides, but still wasn't quite there.
Bentley had a good time too.  She didn't hate the water, but she wasn't overly excited either.  However, her swimsuit was just too cute!!
The fire pit and s'mores/marshmallows were a hit!  All the kids had fun with Papa roasting marshmallows!
Some of the crew gathered around the fire.
Damon getting Papa to help him roast a marshmallow.
Bruce's face in the picture just makes me laugh!  He is the cutest kid and thinks he's one of the big boys now!
Brek!
