At'l Do Farm and Corn Maze

Some friends of ours told us about a farm and corn maze that we should go to because it was so much fun. We went last weekend and the boys had an absolute BLAST!!! They loved everything about it. We were there for over 4 hours, and they were begging us not to go home! I love being about to watch them have so much fun!!

While we were waiting for some other friends to join us, the boys were looking for fish in the pond.  They can't wait for Daddy to take them fishing and neither can I!!
I'm not sure why, but Kyler wanted his picture taken by this big rooster!
Radley and I on the Cow Train.  It was definitely not meant for anyone that is 6ft tall!!  However, I didn't know how well Radley would stay put with his brothers, so one of us had to go.  He seemed to really enjoy the ride through the corn!
Kyler, Emily, & Damon.  She's a great sport to keep up with these boys.  They don't give her any slack!
Pullin' Out
Everyone loved the ride.  We added another friend to ride with Radley and I.
They were all so excited!
Next, we went to the corn cannon where the boys each got three shots to shoot a target with a corncob.
Kyler said, "Daddy will you cover my ears please?"  Haha he really doesn't like loud noises!
If you look at the top of the picture you can see the corncob.  He actually hit the target!!  Way to go Kyler!
When Damon stepped up to shoot, one of the teenagers running the cannon said, "Wow he's really excited!"  Yep, Damon can't control his emotions too well!  He was beyond happy to shoot the cannon.  I couldn't get a great angle to see his face, but pure joy was written all over his face!
The corn maze was the favorite!  They had so much fun running through it.  Luckily there was a part just for kids their age where you couldn't get lost or make many wrong turns!
Radley loved it too and didn't want to be held.
I tried to get a picture of all three in the corn maze, and this is what I get!  Radley is behind Damon.  They wouldn't stop moving for anything!
Family Photo.  Not the worst, but room for improvement!
He was laughing so hard!  He loves to play!
Hay bale maze.  There were no right or wrong turns.  They just ran wild!
Eventually they made their way out.
It was such a nice and pretty night.  The bugs and the wind weren't bad (unusual for here).  It was great!
I couldn't get a great picture on the hay ride, but they had fun on here too!
There were a lot of very intricate pumpkin carvings on the hay ride.
Some silly pumpkins
Just a few of the characters and people carved.  There were all kinds of celebrities and cartoon characters.  The boys loved pointing out all the ones they recognized.
I love living in a place where a pumpkin like this is NOT offensive!
Yes, the best picture we could get!
The three of them trying to squeeze into one spot because none of them wanted to share!
Reading one of the storybook pages through the corn maze (Sorry the pictures are out of order.  I'm too lazy to mess with it).
We had so much fun, and can't wait to do it again sometime!

This is one of the pages of the storybook that we read as we went through the maze.  They couldn't run fast enough to find the next page!

Radley was so funny running around.  He would swing his legs out and just run at his own little pace.  It was really cute and fun to watch!

Playtime & Pumpkins

There are a few shots of the boys just playing around the house.  Radley has become quite the poser.  It is so nice when the boys play together; I just wish it wasn't so loud!!  The noise level drives me crazy, and I can't just send them outside!!

Radley now has a cheesy face!
This boy loves things that move, whether it be trains or trucks or cars.  I would like them much more if he didn't have to play with them in the kitchen!
Look at the grin! Kenney gets a lot of comments from patients or people at work about Damon.  They see his picture and say, "That one is ornery isn't he?"  It's that obvious huh?!?
CHEESE
One particularly long and stressful day, Radely decided to climb back into the bathtub AFTER I had just put on his pajamas and got him ready for bed!  Thanks Radley!!
One day a friend of ours had a family emergency so we had another little boy with us all day.  I have to say, I didn't really notice one more little boy running around here!

These boys are obsessed with Halloween! They point out every Halloween themed object they see, notice every time someone says Halloween, talk about trick-or-treating and costumes constantly, tell me we never have enough decorations in our house or outside our house, etc, etc.!! Kyler is especially obsessed and has caused the others to be the same way! They love going places that have Halloween decorations, and Radley points them out just as much as the rest! It's pretty funny. Having said that, they have been bugging me about buying pumpkins for weeks now. So when they finally went on sale we bought 3 pumpkins and got to work!

I was curious how the cleaning of the pumpkins would go this year, because last year neither of the boys wanted anything to do with it.  We have made some improvements!!  Kyler and Radley both helped (meaning they would at least touch the stuff)!
Damon couldn't miss any of the action.  He just didn't want to touch it!
A 'normal' picture of our children.
Radley was crying and wanting me to hold him so Kenney said, "Radley smile!"  This is the face he gave, and once the picture was taken he returned to crying!
Radley loved climbing on the table and using the big spoons.  I'm not sure what Damon is doing.  Flexing maybe?
Scraping them out!
After a lot of carving, tears and way too many, "Are they done yet's" we finally got three pumpkins carved!
Damon wanted a bat.  Kyler a ghost.  And Radley got the spooky one.
Carrying the pumpkins outside.  Look how strong he is!!
They refused to sit still to take a picture!
We may only do one pumpkin next year!  This took way too much effort!  However, they do get excited every time they go outside and see them.
Yes, this is the best picture we could get!

There is nothing of particular interest in this video. I just thought the Grandma's would enjoy it!

Nice October Weather

The last couple weeks we have been trying to take advantage of the nice warm (not hot) fall weather, before we are stuck inside for the windy winter! The boys love going to parks, and we have been bringing scooters and balls too so we can stay even longer. They are also getting ready for Halloween. We got a couple Halloween packages they were thrilled about getting, and we went to the Pumpkin Trail. Basically they fill a park with thousands of Jack-O-Lanterns and other fun things. The boys had a blast, but the mosquitos were a little too much so we had to walk quickly!

Kyler has decided he is too big for the baseball T and now pitches to himself.  He throws up the ball and hits about 2 out of 3 balls!

Mr. Independent cannot be left behind, no matter the cost!

He is proud of himself every time he reaches the top!

This happens at least once every 10 mins of Damon's life.  Something makes him angry, and then he gets over it!

This is from a different day just thrown in the middle of all these others, but these little monkeys are brave!  Heights don't seem to bother them.

He loves to climb any chance he gets.

My sweet little guy is getting so big!!

Typical!

Radley is pretty good at hitting the ball, but he hates it when Damon chases down his ball!  He screams every time; so naturally, Damon does it every time!

He's not quite able to climb to the top yet, but don't count him out for too long!

Kyler was excited to get these spooky things from his Halloween package.  We also got some other decorations so he decided to take down the ones he drew!

Vampire Teeth

He is so sweet when he is asleep. I wish it could last longer.

The Pumpkin Trail had a lot of cutouts, and Kyler insisted on wearing his skeleton mask to scare people.  Damon also wanted a mask ,so he wore an Ironman mask.

Pumpkins were everywhere and they had so much fun trying to figure out what all the carvings were.  Damon would point at one laughing and say, "Kyler (pronounced like Tyler) look at that one!" Haha Haha!!  It was really funny.

Radley wanted to walk up to each pumpkin, point at it, and grunt!  We would have been there all night if we went at his pace!

Yes, the boys wanted to be fairies, but we couldn't drop the mask for a fairy picture!

My Little Scarecrows

I would be terrified if he was actually able to drive that thing!

He kind of blends in!

I think the cutouts were a hit!  They wanted their picture in every one of them!

Radley pointed at everything, and Damon had to have his picture taken everywhere Kyler got his taken!

They really wished they could drive away!

The boys liked the "Inja Turtles" and the cool lights and smoke!

There is a kiosk at Sam's that gives out free samples, and the boys have to check it out every time we go.  On this particular day, there was gum in the machine.  Great!  They had never really chewed gum before so Kenney got this video of them chewing it.
