The New House

Well we moved again! This time Kenney has a better paying job and we bought a house. We are all excited about the big backyard. However A LOT of work needs to be done on both the inside and outside of the house. Thankfully it's mostly cosmetic, but it will still take a lot of work! The boys have been outside with Kenney almost every evening doing something on the front or back yard. They love playing in the front the because they wave at every car that drives by. We live on the second most busy street in town (not that it's too bad because there is only a population of 2000), but everyone waves back to the boys and it makes them so happy! We are adjusting to a new place again, but the space in the house is really nice!  There are some really ugly things about this house, one of which is the glass mantle/fireplace.  The chimney is still on  the outside of the house, but they removed the fireplace insert to put tile and glass blocks in the living room.  However, it does have a unique feature that allows you to put lights in it.  We decided we will wait until we can have a Halloween party and put color changing lights in it before we take it down.

Damon was so excited about the trees in the backyard.  He has spent a lot of time just sitting up there!
The retro fireplace that lights up.
They quite enjoy standing in the fireplace.
I love how Radley has to stretch to get his face covered.
3 Cheesers!!
I still don't understand who would want something like this in their house!
The boys were quite excited the first time we put lights in it. All I can say is that I cannot wait until we can take it OUT!!!

Keys Reunion

The Keys family reunion started while we were in Missouri, but we drove down to make it for Friday night and Saturday. The boys were crying in the car because they missed Oma and Papa Dude, but it was nice to be able to tell them that they were about to see all their cousins at Nana and Papa's house! We got there for movie/game night and, unfortunately, family pictures! The next day we went to the lake and let the kids play in the water and go out on the tube a few times. It was great to have everyone together and we missed those that weren't there! Maybe one day everyone will be together!!

Movie night was a huge success!!  The kids loved to eat popcorn and candy, watch movies, being able to staying up late and hanging out with cousins!  The adults played games, and for the most part, the kids left us alone!
He had a lot of fun with the sand and shovels.
These boys had a blast swimming, jumping off the boat, riding the tube and just being together!
It is so fun to watch them all play together (and get along)!!!
Daddy went with the boys on the tube this time.  It was fun like always!
Kyler's face, haha!!
Best picture I could get from far off!
Papa and Nana with all 16 of their grandkids.
Considering we had driven from Missouri that day and Daddy worked all day and drove in, I thought this was a pretty good picture!!
The grandkids, and yes, Radley doesn't have pants on!  It was a long day!
Keys Boys (missing Keyan)
Keys Kids (missing Savanna and Keyan)
This wasn't at the reunion, but I had to post this.  We lived in Idalou for 2 months without any internet connection.  We could occasionally pickup neighbors wi-fi that wasn't password protected so we would have to get in the weirdest and most uncomfortable positions to try and send emails or other things!  It was pretty funny.

Goodbyes

Saying goodbye and leaving is the worst!! We all had so much fun and loved being at Oma and Papa Dude's house. Even though the visit was different than we thought it would be because Oma broke her elbow right before we got there, it was still a blast!! Everyone was a huge help to me, but we sure missed our Daddy!
I think Sara had more fun than the boys!
She was picking on the little guys! (Not really, they were all having fun)
This thing was awesome!!  It worked great and filled and tied 50 balloons in less than 30 seconds.
After the balloons come off, there is a cool sprinkler left to play with or suck on?!?
He truly loves getting wet!
Damon would prefer to get others wet.
Attack on Papa Dude
See? She just kept picking on the kids!
But they had a blast!
Zadi and Radley had a special bond while we were there.  She did everything for him!
Emma and the boys making goofy faces.
Seriously they were cracking me up!!
This is 'normal' or is it?!?
Zadi and the boys
Sara with the crazies!
And the craziness continues!!
I love this!!

St. Louis Zoo

One of our favorite things to do when we go to St. Louis is going to the zoo. Not only is it free, but it is a great zoo. I think the only down part about the day was the humidity. It was sticky hot!! Also, Kyler and Damon's favorite animals the tiger and the cheetah were not out. I think it was too hot for both of them to be out. I saw the cheetah for a split second in the back cages, but Damon couldn't see it. Other than that, it was fun to see the animals. Radley really likes animals right now, so it was fun to watch him see all of them. I also couldn't have done it without Papa Dude, Sara, Emma and Zadi there to help. It was definitely a group effort.

We didn't make too many efforts to get a good picture, but here is one attempt!
The butterfly house is always one of my favorites.
Trying to find the hippos.
The closest I hope they ever get to a hippo!
Why are baby animals (and humans) just so much more fun to watch and see than the big ones?!?
See? Isn't he just so cute?
Trying to be just like the big boys.
Looking for the sea lions.
This part was great because there was a/c in the tunnels!!
Watching the sea lions swim over us.
They all took turns in the stroller, but Radley mostly claimed it as his!
Not the best, but as good as it gets!
My willing participants!  I love these boys!

Just Hanging Out

This post has nothing super special or exciting, but it's what we like to do. We just like being around one another and hanging out!

All the Girls!
The Sisters
They wanted part of the picture taking too!
These boys never gave Papa Dude a break.  Seriously they never left him alone!
Did I mention Kyler loved the PlayStation??  Almost every night, Papa Dude and Zadi would make the boys a racer and a race car to play with the next day.  I think by the time we left they had made a Batman, Ironman, Captin America, 2 or 3 Ninja Turtles, Baymax, Spiderman, The Hulk, plus more!
Radley wasn't too excited about video games, but he loved the Little People and other toys.
I found a lot of pictures like this on my phone.  Apparently they were proud of their work!
