100th Day of School

Kyler & Damon had their 100th day of school this week.  Their teachers are so great and use any excuse to party and have fun while learning.  Kyler had to make a poster of 100 things and dress up for a parade with all of the 1st graders, and then they had all kinds of activities and snacks for the entire day.  Damon had to bring a bag with 100 things in it and have his class guess what he brought.  He originally wanted to bring 100 cars which he assured me we have at home.  (We have 100 cars??  Apparently they counted one time and we have more than 100 cars.  So I guess we don't need any more cars even though Damon has assured me over and over that we can never have too many cars because they are all different)  He eventually decided to bring sprinkles which he counted out himself.  Damon's teacher also had a lot of fun things to do.  They made bracelets, necklaces, and crowns!  I think the day was a success!

Kyler with his poster.  He had 100 Fruit Loops, 100 popcorn kernels, 100 pasta shells, 100 sprinkles, and 100 toothpicks that spelled out his name.
My cute little old man!!  He really did look the part.  I can see him as this skinny old man!
From the back when he was walking it really looked like an old man.  Kenney said he looked like my Grandaddy!
Kyler's paper from school.  I love that he wished he had 100 brothers, but NOT 100 parents!  haha!!  He told me that he didn't want 100 people telling him what to do!
Kyler came home with this picture from school where they used an aging filter to make them look older.  I think it worked!!

Busy and worn out kids

After a birthday party one Saturday, Radley fell asleep in the car like this.  Haha!!  I guess he needed somewhere to rest his head and this was as good as any!  I love that after I took the picture and moved his head that he had little red wrinkles on his nose from being like this!!
Someone is trying to learn how to feed herself, and it's a messy business!!  She normally shovels the food into her mouth with both hands.  We are trying to slow her down and teach her some manners!!  I think next time we should try something other than yogurt!!
One day cousins Asher and Taysom came over and everyone was fascinated with baby Taysom.  Poor kid was trying to drink a bottle and Bentley would just take it away and try to feed her baby dolls.  She loved having him around until he started to cry!
So tired from a long day in Lubbock.

One day while picking the boys up from school, Bentley decided that she was going to swing all by herself. She didn't want anyone to help her. This is her 'swinging'.

Bentley is definitely starting to toughen up!  She now tries to wrestle with Radley.  She will walk up behind him, grab his waist, and pull him down.  For some reason she only does it to Radley, which drives Damon crazy because he would love for her to do it to him.  It's nice that she doesn't cry every time the boys mess with her now!

Fun before school starts again

The boys quite enjoyed not having to go to school, much more than me! If not for all the fighting it would have been fine, but I think we were stuck inside for too many days. They loved playing on their new basketball goal and spent a lot of time out there on the nice days. They were able to play with all their new stuff before going back to school. Needless to say, Radley and I were ready for school again. He has to share a lot more when the big boys are home.

Science experiment fun!
Concentrating hard to feed her baby.
It's serious stuff!
Learning to fold her arms during prayers. I love this stage; it's so cute!
Trying to eat like the big boys!!
She can eat just as much food as the boys and eat it faster!!  It's so nice having a good eater except when she is hungry, she is super fussy!!  Give that girl her food!
Super creepy face!

The boys showing off their monkey bar skills!!

Snow Day!

The kids were all so excited to play in the snow. Bentley loved it! I was shocked she let me put on snowpants, gloves, a hat, etc. before going out there, but she did! She had fun and pointed out the snow every time we went outside the next few days! The boys of course had a blast. Radley tried to build a sand castle with the snow, which Damon quickly corrected him by saying that it would be a snow castle. Of course the had to go out the next day with Daddy to play in the snow. It's always more fun when Daddy plays with them. It was really nice to look outside and see everything covered in a pretty white snow. It made me miss living in Idaho!
Snowball Fight
Damon got Kyler!!
Snowflakes trapped on his long beautiful eyelashes.
Sliding around on the snow.
Damon's face looks so painful doing a snow angel.
Kyler did a really good job with his snow angel.
The snow was no longer any fun!
Playing with the snow the next day when it was a little bit easier to play with because the snow wasn't so dry and it was warmer outside.
Damon has always been fascinated with eating snow!  It never fails.
Snow balls!
More snowball fights
Having so much fun!!
Exploring a whole new world.
