Rainy Days and End of Sept

The end of September was full of rainy days. It was great! I loved having full rainy/cloudy days since we don't get them very often. It was fun for the kids too because it wasn't some crazy thunderstorm keeping them from playing in the rain. Bentley and Radley played outside in the morning, and when the other two got home from school they all went out together. They had a blast; I had a lot of laundry!!

Jumping in puddles
Trying to make a huge splash
They weren't quite in sync!!
Slipping and sliding on the trampoline
Radley was trying to fly across the trampoline.

They loved jumping around in the rain!!

Kenney was really impressed that when it was our turn to clean the church we had help from men that were in their late 80's and 90's, but they were still willing to do all they could.  It was great to see, and I hope our kids remember this!
That day we took the kids to McDonalds for working hard at the church and a thunderstorm came through.  It was kinda funny because there had been news about strong winds from the hurricanes pretty far inland.  They were making a big deal about 40MPH winds which is a very common things around here.

The winds were pretty impressive, but nothing out of the ordinary for us.

Johnny Appleseed day involved making treats for Damon's class, but it turned out to be a FHE activity/treat too!
Bentley just kept sneaking M&Ms
Gross!!
This was Kyler's creation, and he ate the entire thing, licking the napkin!!  And yet he thinks most dinners I make don't taste good!!
