Busy Boy

Even though Kyler is not quiet mobile yet, he is very busy. He is never still unless he is absolutely exhausted or sick. It is very odd to see him relaxing. He continues to do his crunches all day long and will not crawl!! He can entertain himself as long as he does not see Kenney or me. As soon as he sees us he starts whining. Funny how that works!

He has not had many new adventures lately, besides a Texas football game! Lets just say he's not a fan, yet. He did not like all of the loud noises and yelling. He did enjoy all of the stuff happening around him. He only cried during the entire first quarter because it was all new. and the last quarter because it was a close game and there was lots and lots of noise, plus it was late. But Childress won and Uncle Keyan did amazing!! We'll see how Kyler does the week.

Hmm... I wonder who sent him this?? Auntie Shandi of course!!

Silly Boy
The blurry pics are from my phone, sorry.

This is what Kyler was thinking during the football game. He fell asleep during the second quarter. He had had enough!!

Here is a better picture of his 'pimp' outfit, as Kenney calls it. Notice the pimp shoes also.

Kyler jumping around and having a blast! Thanks Nanny

I Know. . . It's Been Forever

We have been a little busy remodeling a house, going without the Internet and a power cord to our computer. Needless to say I am at least getting a post done in August, even if it is the last day!!

Kyler is getting bigger by the second!! He is 5 1/2 months old and skinny as ever, especially compared to all of his cousins! He continues to hate being on his stomach and is slowly beginning to maneuver without crawling. I will walk out of the room, come back, and Kyler will be on the opposite side of the room. He will only roll to his stomach when a toy he really wants is out of reach; otherwise he will play on his back, using his feet as much as his hands.

He has started eating 'real' food. He likes it much better as long as it is sweet. I have to disguise his peas with applesauce!! No teeth yet which is great for me. He is usually pretty happy and smiles all the time.

Like I said before we have been working and working and working on our house!! Yes, we have a house!! We have painted almost every square inch of it so far. (Pictures to come later) Other than the house, Kenney is the new seminary teacher, I am in Young Women's, and we now have to work on the outside of the house. Oh did I mention that we actually have two houses? Yeah, it is two houses connected. Once the big one is finished we have another house to start working on!!! Oh what fun!!

This was taken today. He's getting big!!

The 6 babies born this year in Kenney's family. Kyler was the second born. The baby to the left of Kyler is actually a month younger than him.

The Babies and Their Beautiful Mommas

He loves to play in the water now. He likes to splash and hear all the noise he can make!

Notice the adorable flip-flops

We got the most compliments on this outfit at church. We need to get a better picture, but he looked super cute. Nanny has always had the best fashion advice!!

Too cute for words!!

This video was taken while I was talking to my sister on the phone. He all of a sudden thought the rings were so much fun!!

3 Years!!

Kenney and I have been married for 3 years today!! Sometimes it seems like we just met. I am very blessed to have Kenney in my life. He is a great husband, awesome dad, a hard worker, and believe it or not he is a softy!! He always tries to make time for Kyler and me whenever he gets a chance.

We have had some great memories in the past 3 years. We have moved 6 times, been to Canada and Mexico, made some amazing friends, had the cutest baby, and still love to be around each other! Kenney is a great man, and I am so happy that I will have many more memories with him.

This is the summer that we met 7 years ago!!

The Monster Has Returned

When Kyler was first born he would growl and grunt at us. Well, the monster is back! He started growling again. He also started to mimic us. The video clip is a pretty poor representation of what he actually does, but it's the best we've caught on film so far. His little laugh is also the cutest thing. He is very ticklish and squeals at anything. We tired to catch him laughing pretty good, but of course as soon as the camera came out, he didn't laugh as well. We'll keep trying to catch this monster on film, but this is as good as it gets for now!

A Trip to Nanny's

We got a call on Tuesday saying that my Nanny broke her arm the day before, so Kyler and I headed down to Brownwood to help her out. I think Kyler was the best medicine for her!! She loved spending time with him and telling everyone that called all about him. My Grandaddy even held him, talked to him and told people about him too! It is a rare event that Grandaddy smiles or even pays attention to much other than the TV, but Kyler was able to get some attention from Grandaddy.

While we were there two of my aunts came also. I did not get any pictures of them with Kyler, but they loved this little guy too. He hardly touched the bed at all! Kyler also found his voice while we were there. Nanny and I went to the store, and Kyler screamed (I mean loud) for about 20 minutes. He was happy but screaming. It was funny except for all of the people staring at us!! He put on the same show for my aunts.

This video might not be impressive to most,
but this is my grandaddy talking and playing with Kyler. I love it!

Kyler works out every day by doing crunches!! He lifts his entire head and shoulders off the couch, floor, or bed. He was making everyone laugh with his 'exercises.'

My Aunt Debbie is the best hairstylist ever. She gave Kyler his first haircut or at least an attempt at one. He was not exactly excited about it as you can tell, but at least his hair does not hang over his ears anymore. Thanks Aunt Debbie!
