We had a busy and fun Saturday! It started off with a parade in Wellington and booths at the park. Then we had lunch and went to Altus Air Force Base to watch an air show. It was a lot of amazing! The Thunderbirds did a show which was awesome. It is amazing to see those jets fly so close together and so precisely. They had a kid section with bounce houses and a rock climbing wall, so we played there after the show. There were lots of big Air Force planes we could have gone inside and different simulators, but we didn’t have enough time. All the flyers said it would be open until 6pm, but they started closing everything at 5. It was pretty disappointing, but we still had a great time. Then Daddy entertained the kids at the Halloween section of Walmart while I got groceries.

Bentley wasn't the biggest fan of the air show. It was a little long and loud for her taste.

For Labor Day we went to the lake. The kids all got to ride in the boat; Kyler and Damon went on the tube where Kyler fell off into the water for the first time and thought he was going to die (it was pretty funny) and Damon kept his head down the majority of the time refusing to look; they all swam and swam; Bentley almost drowned (seriously, it was really scary); we got some sun even though it wasn’t too hot; and I got some Braums (the highlight of the trip as always)!!

So Kyler has never fallen off the tube because he's always been with smaller kids. Papa didn't drive the boat as fast with little kids, but he gave Avery and Kyler quite the ride. Kyler fell off, but not without holding on to the tube for dear life. It looked like his twisted his arm pretty bad, and he came up out of the water screaming. Mark (Papa) thought he hurt himself, however I was almost certain he was just scared. He had never been in the middle of the lake by himself before. It was kinda funny! We reassured him that someone would always come back to get him and that was why he was wearing a life jacket. Thankfully Mark didn't give him much choice and forced him back up on the tube; he was great the rest of the time!
This is how Damon rides the tube 95% of the time. He's in the middle and refuses to look up!! For a kid that LOVES speed, I find this hilarious!
