The biggest news of September was the sealing of Jaylen to Keyan and Kelli. We were so happy for them and thrilled to be a part of their big day! We also started painting the house to prepare for new windows. The branch talent show was fun too! Somehow I missed getting the video of Bently and Emma's gymnastics routine, but Kyler and Damon did a great job!
Fun in PE
Bentley helping a friend
Fun with friends
"Kyler, I have a basketball game next week, will you practice with me?" Of course he did! And also not surprising, it lasted about 15 minutes, haha!
Kenney's 3D project for the month, a Thor pen. He even painted it after this.
Logan really liked the snow cones we had at our house.
This was a super special day! Keyan and Kelli were able to be sealed to Jaylen!! It was awesome!
Love this family so so much!
Playing at Costco after the temple.
Everyone had to see if they could fit
She was getting a little car sick and this is how she decided to hold the bucket, haha!
Mackenzie is so happy to have such a good friend in her class, Presley.
The beginning of painting the back of the house trim
Papa Dude has some pretty cool caterpillars in his garden.
All the trim on the front of the house finished
Trying to decide which color to paint the brick on the house.
Damon really wanted to do a talent and I am always amazed by his NFL player knowledge. I convinced him this is definitely a talent. I think he did really well!
I love that he choose this for his talent. He took the time to learn each country in the world, so he might as well show it off!
Most Sundays we end of here playing games with Papa Dude.
Kenney organzied a youth service project for the nationwide day of service for the month of September. He came across the Loco Cemetary as he was recording grave stones for Billion Graves. When he drove to the Loco Cemetary he realized how overgrown and unkept it was. He thought that would be a great opportunity for the youth to help clean it up and then record the names on Billion Graves. The youth (and leaders) did an amazing job! Kenney posted it on Facebook and had so many people comment on the post, as well as many people in the community come talk to him about it. There was also a story in the newspaper about what they had done. It was a great transformation and a memorable project for all the youth.
We joined Keyan, Cary Shane, and Shayla's families all at Lake Altus for one last summer hurrah! We hadn't been in a long time, but everyone seemed to have a great time. The boat unfortunately, didn't last very long, so the boys went cliff jumping. They really enjoyed it, and then we finished the night off with Braums.
Pre-K was able to have a Grapes with Grandparents day at school. She had Oma, Papa Dude, Nanny, Nana & Papa all attend with her!! A very loved little girl!
They didn't get a picture before Oma left, but I'm glad they got a few!
Papa Dude was sweet to let Drake join in since his grandparents live so far away!
This is what Mackenzie likes to do the most with her grandparents. She said, "When I eat with them, then they get me ice cream."
