Spring Weather

The warmer weather has been really nice, and Kenney has been randomly taking some of the kids on walks. Conference Sunday we all went for a walk, and the boys decided to ride their bikes. That was the most stressful walk of my life!! 3 kids that don't really know how to ride bikes with traffic is not relaxing in and of itself, add in stray dogs that just randomly bark and approach your kids with traffic mixed in brings a whole new level of stress!! The boys are not very aware of cars or how to look around them. Kyler also has no sense of direction. They have asked if they could ride bikes around town on their own. I now know that my answer of no was very correct!! Kyler would have been hit by a car or lost if we weren't with him.

She's discovered her hair.  Thankfully, she doesn't pull too hard yet.
Out for a family stroll.
The people I love most!
But this was the most nerve wracking walk of my life!!
We Got a Bed, We Got a Bed! We got a Bed, Hey Hey Hey Hey!!!
Cool 'mile'stone on the van!

Mackenzie pulls her hair, but she also just plays with it too because she is grabbing anything her little fingers touch!

She's also very vocal! She's always talking, pretty loudly too.

Spring and More

A very normal Sunday evening scene at Nana & Papa's house
Taysom and Asher came to play one day while their mom was gone.  Bentley loved it!!
I love it when our trees flower every year.
Kerry brought me some fresh flowers when she got back.  They were so pretty!
Mackenzie's hair has a lot of body to it when she gets out of the bath.  We did a little fro just to see what it would look like!!
Hahaha
We all filled out March Madness brackets this year.  Radley had an amazing start to his.  He was 15-16 for the first set of games!!  And the game he lost was only by 1 point!  He also picked the West bracket perfectly!!  He didn't miss one game!  He messed up a little bit by picking Colgate to make it to the Final Four, but it was still pretty impressive.
All dressed up at church
So pretty!
And so happy!
Almost too perfect!!
One of the many flowers I have been given from Bentley and Radley!  Kenney told Bentley to pick all the yellow flowers (dandelions) she could one day.  I received flowers by the handful that day!
The beehive got a paint job.  We both really liked the look of the wood, but it will last much longer in the elements if it's painted.
All primed and ready for paint!
Trying on the bee suit!
Just a normal laundry day around here, not pictured are the hanging clothes!  7 people go through a lot of clothes in one week!!

Mackenzie can roll over!!

Radley is so funny when has to get the eggs. Kenney finally started filming him when was in the fence, but it took about 3 attempts of walking back and forth towards the house and then back to the chickens before he finally decided to be brave and go inside. I love how he uses the basket as a weapon to shew the chickens away and then props the door on his head.

When Kids Get My Phone

I can't tell you how many pictures I find on my phone that I didn't take. Rarely I'll find a good one, but most of the time I get pictures and videos like these...

Hey look at that chub!!  There's an actual crease in that thigh!
??????

Here's one of several videos I found of Damon.

Mackenzie's Blessing

The plans for Mackenzie's blessing didn't quite work out as we planned, but she was still given a beautiful blessing in a gorgeous dress. None of my family ended up being able to come because of sickness and other things, so it was a circle full of Keys! I fed her right before the blessing because I didn't want her screaming and needing to eat. I was hoping she would fall asleep, but she didn't. Instead she was wide awake and hated being laid back for the blessing. She cried through the whole blessing!! Our best baby was the only one that cried during her blessing, go figure! Kenney was great and didn't rush even with her screaming. He blessed her to be a peacemaker and to be kind. It seems like she is such a sweet girl already. Oma made her dress while we were at her house, and it turned out perfect!

A girl and her Daddy
The first picture I have of all 7 of us!!  7- that's a lot of people!!
The amazing dress made just for her!

St. Patrick's Day Parade & 3 Months

We made it home in time for the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Shamrock. The kids always love a good parade. We thought for a while that we were only going to get gum, but eventually they got more candy. Even though it was loud, Mackenzie took a little nap during the middle of it. Bentley had everyone around us picking up stray candy to put in her bucket. It's amazing how quickly she can wrap everyone around her little finger, even without trying!

Mackenzie also turned 3 months on our drive home!  She's just too cute!

Waiting for the candy!!
Festive clover hair!
Buckets ready!
Here it comes!
Waving hoping some candy gets thrown their way.
What kind of emergency vehicle is that??
About halfway through, Bentley decided she would rather eat the candy she had than get any more.  But she didn't need to worry about getting more candy because all the older men around gathered all they could and dropped it in her bucket.
Wow!!  3 months
She smiles all the time!!  We love how happy she is, however, she really doesn't need much sleep which can be hard!
See that little crease in her thigh??  It doens't look big here, but it's getting bigger all the time.

Almost forgot Damon lost his other front tooth!  He now has no front teeth; hopefully he'll get them in before Christmas.

Bentley taking a break

It was so loud and sirens hurt my ears, but Mackenzie really didn't cry too much.  She was a little nervous and scared, but she wasn't screaming.
