Snow!!

We didn't get much snow, but it was enough to play in for a bit and throw around. The frost covered every little branch it was so pretty against the blue skies!

Oh Mackenzie

This girl is always entertaining, keep us all laughing! You never know what might happen next, and we love it! She is fierce and will scream in your face if you do something she doesn't like, but she is also the biggest lover! Our family would be so different without her.

Kyler's Ordination

Kyler turns 12 this year and was able to be ordained to be a deacon and receive the Aaronic Priesthood.  He didn't waste any time and wanted his ordination the first Sunday of January before Zadi, Kacy, and Coby all left.  We were missing some family that lives in Childress who were all visiting family, but we were thankful for those that could be there.  Kyler looks so tiny in the picture, but in just a couple years he could be close to the same size as everyone else!  We sure love this kid and his desire to make good choices and try to do what is asked of him.  The best thing is his search for knowledge.  He will often side with me to read scriptures, and I love that time with him because it isn't forced.  It's something he is wanting to do.  He is such a sponge and loves to learn new things.  It's fun so see the potential and greatness in this amazing person he is and is striving to become!

 

New Year's Party

We went to Nana and Papa's house to be with lots of family for New Year's Eve. We ate lots of food, played lots of games, watched a movie and spent a lot of time together.  The kids were excited because we all spent the night so they got even more time with everyone.  We played some more games the next day and Nana made a nice lunch for all of us!

She used to cry every time she looked at Coby, and this time she wouldn't leave him alone!!

Making them be nice to one another, hoping for good luck in the year to come with these two.  So far it hasn't worked...

Getting my pictures for the calendar, and these girls are never too far from Brock when he's around.

The same is true for Kacy and Coby.  Our kids sure have been blessed with some amazing Aunts and Uncles!

One of the games we played had a space on the board that had the person landing on it to do service for anyone that wanted something.  Kenney landed on it, and I asked for a small piece of cake.  Well, in true Kenney fashion, I got a small piece of cake, haha!!

Doing anything with cousins makes it so much better!
