Music Videos

All of the families were asked to make a music video for the reunion.  There were some really funny and cute videos made.  I pretty much had no part in it, while Kenney and the kids did it all.  I helped to find some clothes, but I wasn't even here when they filmed it.  We could have made more of an effort to make it better, but it was a little chaotic before we left so we ran out of time.  

If you haven't seen the original video, you should go watch it.  Radley's shoulders were getting tired and Mackenzie was tired so she didn't cooperate.  It's not the best, but it's pretty funny and the best we were able to do!

This is the best video, in my opinion.  You should definitely watch the original; it makes it even more funny.  Brock's dad is a producer for BYU TV so their filming and editing is a little better than most, but their moves are the best!

This was the runner up for me.  What are the odds that there would be 2 Weird Al songs??  I guess Keyan and Kenney are brothers!!  Kelli was such a good sport!

Kacy and Coby's was really cute too!  Coby has a lot more guts than I do.  I would have never done something like this right after marrying into a family!!

We got some really good family pictures while we were there.  Our kids did great and were super cooperative.  Kenney even suffered through it!

Keys Reunion: Morrison Springs & More

The second full day we were in Florida, we went to Morrison Springs.  It was a naturally fed cold water spring.  It was amazing.  The only downfall was the weather!  There were thunderstorms.  It was raining pretty hard when we were driving and when we got there, but we waited until most of the storm blew over.  It never really cleared up, but everyone still had a great time.  Most of the adults didn't go swimming, except Aaron (who had a wetsuit) and Tamra.  The kids didn't seem to mind.  I on the other hand was freezing just standing in the rain, haha!  The water was super clear and it was so pretty.  The camera doesn't do the colors justice, but I'm sure it would have been even better if the sun was out.

Swimming in the cold water

Radley jumped before I could get the camera ready, and he wasn't going to do it a second time!

Radley wasn't confident in his swimming abilities, especially in cold water, so Uncle Aaron was nice enough to help him get back to the dock.

She really loved being with Kacy and warmed up to her really fast.  Coby, on the other hand, she did not like very much!  Very different than Bentley who loved all men at Mackenzie's age.

I used the beach umbrella while I was watching the kids play, I had a few others join me!

While it was still storming slightly and there was a little lightning, Damon and Bruce couldn't resist.  They had to get in the freezing water!

The storm moved on and just left some sprinkling clouds so the other kids got in on the fun too.  The cold water didn't seem to bother anyone but the kids.  Kyler didn't really get in though, not like the others.

Mackenzie had a really good time in the water.  I think she loved that it wasn't too deep and the waves weren't knocking her down.

I didn't take any pictures of the dance party we had, and I honestly didn't take enough videos of the kids dancing either, but they had a lot of fun.  Bentley was seriously the Dancing Queen.  She danced to every song and showed all her moves.  At one point Brock and Shayla got up and mimicked all of her moves; it was hilarious!  She was such a ham during the entire dance.  Everyone was talking about Bentley and her moves!!  Mackenzie probably would have had some moves too, but it was late by the time the dancing started and she was ready for bed!

Bentley knew some of the words to this song, but she was taking it so seriously.  She was too funny!
