Our Trip Part II

The whole purpose of our trip was to go to Cary Shane and Diana's wedding. While we were trying to keep two kids warm and entertained outside the temple we again forgot to take any pictures of the bride and groom. Sorry. We were happy to be there for them and enjoyed being part of their special day. While they were taking wedding pictures, we were all inside taking family pictures. Below are the best pictures we have to-date of our growing family. We need to work a little harder and get some better pictures!

It's really hard to get a real smile out of Kyler these days so this is as good as it gets!

I love how Damon is looking at Kyler. He loves his big brother!

I thought it was hard to get a picture of our family. There weren't any 'good' ones with all the kids. I don't know if we even got one kid to look at the camera the whole time. Damon is smiling though.

Just the grandkids. Damon happy again!

After the wedding we went to Idaho to see some really good friends and amazing people we miss dearly living in Texas. Our time was really short there too, but we were happy just to have the chance to see some friends! We stayed with Scott and Sharon (our Idaho 'family') where Kyler played in the snow, we all ate tons of treats, and had an great time. They even watched the boys while we went on our first real date since Damon was born. We also went to visit our friends, Wes and Mandy, who have a new addition to their family, Cambria. She is such a happy little girl who cried if Kenney or I tried to hold her. (In our defense, she won't even let her grandma hold her). It was awesome too see everyone and we were sad to leave so soon.

Kyler making sugar cookies with Mandy. He, of course, loved to eat the cookies more than make the cookies.

It was so funny to see Kyler all dressed up for the snow! It looked like it was hard for him to walk. He wasn't quite sure what to do with the snow. He had fun until he decided he didn't want to wear his mittens anymore and got his hands cold.

Sadly we had to come back home. We were able to spend a little more time with Kristen and Korinne on our way home. The drive home on Christmas Eve and Christmas day was not ideal, but the boys did really well considering we were in the car for close to 30 hours in one week! Thank you to everyone that took care of us while we were gone!
