Irish Country Roads

We loved having the freedom of a car while we explored. Kenney was an EXCELLENT driver. I was amazed how easily and quickly he drove a stick shift on the wrong side of the road!! I know he did it in England, but it's been a long time and handled it so well. I would have been terrified of the roads and parking without the traffic. We didn't have a single incident with the car. Google also saved us a lot time and directed us to our destinations without too many problems.

One of 100s of ruins off the side of the road.  This one was on a golf course.  It was crazy how these things were everywhere!
Yes, this is a 2 land road!!
When these roads, with tall hedges, got curvy, it was really it was really hard to see other cars coming.
Another random ruin.

These are a couple examples of the country roads that we traveled.  I didn't get some of the scariest  and hardest to drive, but you can get the idea.  The speed limit for this road was 80kmph or about 55mph, and there was no way anyone should ever go that fast on these roads!!

I didn't capture the best part of this road, but these wooded roads by the castles we stayed in.
Our wheels for the trip!  It seems like a small car here in the States, but it was a pretty big car over there.
We started off marriage with a Toyota Corolla so it was fun that we drove this one all over.
We found this cool ceiling in the Atlanta airport.
