4th of July & More

Pioneer Park

The Barneys came to join the party for the 4th of July.  We started the day at Pioneer Park.  We all had a great time.  It's such a great place for kids.  The kids found a frog and he got a lot more playing time than I'm sure he even intended to have!

There seems to be a trend with this swimsuit, haha!!!

Looking for the frog

Splash!!

She was very focused on that frog!!

Radley built a little pool that was perfect for Mackenzie to splash in, and she loved it!

Bounce House & More

The Barneys brought their bounce house with them, and the girls loved it!  It was perfect for them. They also brought their snow cone machine.  It was a hit as always.

Shandi got in on the fun too!

Ice with flavor!!  She was in heaven!

True Matching!

Aunt Bug won her over!  Trust me, that's not easy to do.

Fireworks

We drove to Childress to watch the firework show.  It seemed to take a while to get started and there were fireworks going off all around us.  The Barney's brought some poppers and sparklers with them so the kids had a great time with those.  Mackenzie didn't like throwing them, but she sure tried stomping on them!  Oma got the kids a slurpee while we waited too.  The day couldn't get much better, and then Kacy and Coby showed up and surprised us!  We hadn't seen Kacy since Christmas and had never met Coby.  It was a great surprise.  The kids really enjoyed the fireworks!

Damon tried to get her to throw the poppers.

She preferred to jump!!

She has been really blessed with such good brothers.

Who knows what that conversation was about.  I'm sure MJ had a lot to say that no one understood.

Sluprees!!!

Hanging Out Together

Zadi trying to help Bentley with her letters.

Papa Dude reading the same story over and over again.

There are always weird games and competitions going on with Papa Dude around.

And they took a really weird turn when this started!!

Mackenzie was right in the middle of it all.

I'm not quite sure how long they stayed this way, but it was too long!

And of course our AC went out again when they came to visit.  It seems to be a very unwelcome trend.
