Bentley had a rough introduction to basketball. This was the first year she has played and there was a lot to be proud of. She became so much more aggressive and less timid as the season progressed. Her entire team was new to basketball, and it showed. There are a lot of teams that play to win, rather than to let all the kids learn to actually play the game. Many teams just trapped rather than letting anyone play a true offense. It was very hard for me to watch! Our girls tried really hard, but unfortunately, did not have much success.

There were a lot more tie balls as the season went on. They caught on pretty quickly that they had to stop the ball.
