Yellowstone

The main reason and destination of our trip was Yellowstone National Park (our 4th national park of the year).  Radley, as a 4th grader had a pass to get into any national park for free.  The morning we were leaving Scott and Sharon's to head to Yellowstone, Radley woke up sick and proceeded to throw up. NOOOOO!!!  Poor kid!  He kinda had a miserable day, but he was such a good sport!  He was eventually able to walk around and enjoy some of the sites too.

We were able to see many of the highlights at Yellowstone, especially since we were only there for one day.  The crowds weren't terrible and traffic was only an issue once.  It never failed when there were bison on the side of the road people were stopping.  It was crazy how often it would happen.  The boys really wanted to see a bear, a wolf, an eagle and a moose.  Unfortunately, we were only able to see an elk and so many bison!!

After throwing up for the last time as we went through the entrance, Radley was able to get out of the car and walk around.
Muddy bubbles
So much going on with geysers and hot pools all over the place

We loved the colors of these pools

Muddy bubbles

Such unique creations!

She was so funny using the bathroom, aka latrines, because they smelled so bad.  She was trying to plug her nose the entire time, and Dad thought it was amusing so he took a picture, haha!  He was right; it was funny!
Little waterfalls
Radley was finally feeling a little more like himself, thankfully.  Poor guy!
Such drastic color differences!

Old Faithful in the background getting ready to blow!
Obviously we were not alone is visiting Yellowstone!!
Impatient kids waiting for Old Faithful to go ahead and 'explode'!
Still snow on the ground in some places!
Being an annoying sister.

There she blows!!

Dragon's Mouth

So many bison!!
It was forecasted to be raining, so we were happy to just have some clouds and a rainbow by the waterfall. We got a few drops while driving, but it was a beautiful day!

Waterfalls are so pretty!

So much water!
