Damon had a great basketball season, and so did his team. They dominated their district, winning every game by 30 or more points. Damon played a crucial part in defense and was a part of the majority of all the fast breaks. It was amazing to see him jump so many passing lanes and stealing the ball. He rarely gets a foul called on him, and he's got a nice shot. He really should have shot the ball more.
Towards the end of the season he got osgenslaughters disease. Unfortunately, it took him out almost completely. He was unable to run hard and jump well. He no longer could push himself for fast breaks. It was so sad to watch him limp and move so unlike his normal self. He tried as hard as his body would let him and still played quite a bit because he was still a solid and dependable player with his game intelligence and lack of turnovers.
He also ended up helping on Radley's team when so many of their players were gone, and the team struggled so much. It was so fun to see him and Radley play together. It would have been even better if Damon was fully healthy and they could have run the court together.
