Early June

We have survived the first few weeks of summer!!!  I was honestly a little nervous about how things would go being home (without a lot of friends and/or things to do) with 4 kids ALL day long.  However, things have been going much better than I anticipated!  Don't get me wrong, we've have a few moments here and there, but it's been pretty good so far!

This little girl has been loving the bath lately and splashes like crazy!!!
Until this happens... the boys can't help but to get her wet, and she really does handle it well.
The look says it all, "Get me away from these boys."  I have a feeling I will get this look a lot!
She looked so cute in her poofy dress on Sunday.  I wasn't so sure how it would look while it was on the hanger, but it was cute once it was on her.
Those arms are always moving, and for that matter, something is always moving!  She is one active little girl!
The boys love to play in the water (and I like it when I can control the circumstances a little bit).
They all had a lot of fun.
I couldn't help but put this picture in here.  Damon is so funny!
He was loving this!
And of course there had to be tears from someone!
Just a cutie pie!
They all wanted to take a picture with her.  As cute as Radley is, I love Bentley's face in this one!
Just so cute and innocent!
Crazy Damon loves to photo bomb!

I love this picture!

Memorial Day Weekend

Kenney was able to have the entire Memorial Day weekend off, so he thought it would be a good time to take the boys camping. I wasn't really planning on going, but then I got sick (horrible mastitis) so Bentley and I stayed home. The boys got all packed up and headed to the store to get all their food. Then they went fishing at Nanny and Papa's house. They caught one fish and headed to Kevin's property to camp by the fire pit. There were some tears, smiles, laughs and not much sleeping, but the boys had a lot of fun! It was pretty obvious that Damon was the most comfortable out there. Kyler would have been just as happy, if not more happy, staying at home watching a movie (not as many sticks to pick up at home). Radley had a lot of fun once he realized the bleeding on his leg from a small scratch was not as serious as the 30 minutes of crying he self-inflicted! Daddy realized camping was much more fun and relaxing as a kid rather than a parent! I decided the boys should do this more often!!

Monday we had a family cookout and let the kids roam free!  The root beer and ice cream made the night a little more special!

Just so sweet!
Lovin' the fire
Daddy and Radley had plenty of alone time after Radley was awake by 5:30am!!
Getting sugared up on donuts!
About to get all muddy
Exploring a little deeper
Deciding if they should jump in or not
Radley
Damon
And twig looking Kyler!
Running away from mud Kyler was throwing.  I guess at one point the two little boys were covered in mud from Kyler while Kyler was still pretty clean.  Kenney then put the camera down and nailed Kyler with some mud.  Apparently he didn't like his own medicine!!
Boys and mud!!
Pretty disgusting and very proud of themselves!
Radley cheesing away!
King of the Mud
I was too busy cutting things up when the root beer was really bubbling from the dry ice, but they thought it was cool!
Not so sure about a lizard Daddy caught but willing to hold it.
The tail was longer than to body!
Look how long the 'toes' were on this thing!!  I had no idea they had toes that long!
Damon held it once and then got scared.  When I asked him to take a picture with the lizard, he really wasn't sure.
However, he did smile!
Helping Papa man the grill but still a little nervous.
I think he got more help than he bargained for!
I love this little patriotic outfit Oma sent!  So glad she can wear it again on the 4th, and so blessed to live in our country!!

This video is of the mud fight the boys had while camping. I love that every time Damon or Radley falls down the camera shakes because cannot help but laugh at his kids!!

Bentley has been obsessed with her tongue lately, and it's so funny! I got the camera out to get her playing with her tongue, but then the boys were trying to get her to say "Da-Da." Kenney is very happy that she can say "Da-Da." I guess Radley will be the only one that said "Ma-Ma" first!

Kindergarten Graduation & More

And just like that Kindergarten is over!!  Kyler has grown so much in the last year.  He now reads unbelievably well, has tons of new friends, played baseball and basketball, and sailed through his first year of school with flying colors!  Rather than straight A's, Kyler got straight E's (the highest mark you can receive).  He even got E's after the first 6-weeks, something his teacher said she rarely puts on the first report card.  He had a great year and is so excited to be a 1st grader and show Damon the ropes of Kindergarten!

Kyler getting ready to sing. (He's in the middle back)
Waiting for his name to be called.
They had each kid find a spot on the floor to stand on before getting their diploma.  I was happy he had a more natural smile.
Getting his diploma (his teacher is at the microphone in the red dress)
Kyler getting the citizenship award!  I guess this award is like a Student of the Year kind of a thing, and Kyler's teacher picked him and one other kid.  We are really proud of him.
Our little graduate!  Hopefully this is the first of at least 3 graduations!
Kyler with his friend Court.
Getting ready to dance and be crazy!!
Kyler and his teacher Mrs. Chandi Taylor
A bunch of crazy kindergartners!!
There were a bunch of good kids in Kyler's class.
Poor Kyler had a very rough last day of school!  While walking to the track for the big end of year track meet, Kyler tripped and fell.  Unfortanetly, he had his hands in his pockets (yes it was cool enough for jackets in May, crazy).  He fell face first and his teeth and top lip took the brunt of it!  Thankfully we know a dentist (Kenney's brother) really well.  Kevin was able to squeeze us in and take some x-rays for us!  His front tooth was shifted down and it wasn't exactly clear if his 3rd tooth in had been cracked.  He has an extra baby tooth trying to make it's way down causing some issues, but it was the most secure one!  His poor lip was so swollen (it got much bigger than this picture shows), his gums looked awful, and his teeth were SOOO tender and loose.  He was a little dramatic about it at times, but overall he took it pretty well!  Poor kid.  The milkshakes seemed to help though!
On Sunday when his teeth were finally starting to feel less sore and he had eaten some pancakes (his first solid food), he was running inside Nana & Papa's house to get a cupcake when someone rocked back in a recliner and hit Kyler in the head as he ran by.  The timing was really remarkable and horrible!  Kyler then seriously bit his tongue (with his tender front tooth mind you) and started screaming and bleeding all over again!!!  Ugh!!  He bit his tongue all the way through.  It took about 2 and 1/2 hours to get the bleeding fully under control because the clot fell off 3 times before we finally made it home and put him to bed.  It was then much more painful to swallow so it was rough getting any food in him the next day.  Back to milkshakes!!
