Track Meet

The boys' favorite day of the year has come and gone. In the past, the track meet has been on the last day of school. Because of state testing, they changed the date this year. It was different doing it with way but just as much fun. The boys did amazingly well and had a blast!  Kenney and I each took one girl and went from event to event trying not to miss anything.  Of course we didn't make it to all 3 of the boys 6 events.  The way it ended up, I saw a lot of more Kyler's events and had the camera with me, so there are a lot of pictures of him.  For the most part, at least one of us was at every event!!

There was a lot of talk about the Keys Boys, but only time how competitive it will be in the future.  For now, it has been fun and exciting to watch them!

Love these boys!!
Picking flowers trying to keep busy during the all the events.
After it was all over they had to race one another!  Apparently they weren't tired enough.
Bentley waned to run too!
Trying to keep up with the big boys!
Kyler

Getting ready to run the first leg of the relay.

100 Meter Dash
Finishing strong
Landing on the mat at the end of the obstacle course.
Close race in the 40 yd dash
Still tight
Photo finish getting 1st place!
Long jump with a 9.5 foot jump
Kyler and his teacher Mrs. McLain.  She has been great, and he has really enjoyed her class immensely.
Jax, Kyler, and Jeremiah.  Two of Kyler's good friends from his class.
2nd in 100M and softball throw (we need to work on his curl hop) and 1st in everything else!!

Damon
Ensuring the first place finish in the relay.
Doing amazing zig zagging through the obstacles.

Gaining as much speed at possible the jump as far as he can.  He takes his events very seriously, but still has a great time with all his friends and gets excited when they do well too!
Flying to 8.75 feet
Cix and Damon
Damon and Westin
A little game of duck-duck-goose during their break.
It's hard to see through the adults, but he did amazing running his 100.
All 1st place except for the softball throw, which I didn't see, but according to Damon it was a super close 2nd!!

Radley

His team was super far behind when they have him the baton, but he actually got pretty close to catching up!
He's so little!!
Gaining speed
Jump!!!!
Obstacle course
Radley's best friend Ryker.  They think they're cool because they have to same initials: RK.
Running the 40 and checking over his shoulder to make sure he was in the lead!!
He said he got 2nd in the obstacle course, but I'm pretty sure the 1st place didn't run it correctly.  Oh well, he still did amazing!
