We're finally getting eggs!! It has been exciting and fun for all of us to get eggs. The kids love being able to go gather and find the eggs. The chickens haven't always laid their eggs in the coop, so it was fun for the kids to do a real egg hunt! We are getting brown eggs, white eggs, and a different shade of brown speckled eggs. There is a definite color difference once the eggs are cracked too. I was surprised they tasted so much different as well. We are really hoping the novelty doesn't wear off for any of us!

| We got a monster egg one day and were joking that the big egg is the kids' cousin Logan and the small egg is Mackenzie. Logan was born 2 weeks after Mackenzie and was 10lbs 10oz. He makes Mackenzie look so tiny! |
