Quarantine Activities

It feels like we haven't done anything lately, but at the same time, it seems like we've done a lot. Kenney's actually been pretty busy lately. He's been building a playset, planting a garden, growing grass, playing with the kids, fixing up the rent house, and so much more. The poor guy is definitely not getting a break during this whole quarantine thing. He even took a day off work to help get the playset built. We knew our trip to Hawaii would be cancelled and we would be stuck at home quite a bit, so we ordered the playset. They have LOVED it. I knew Radley, Bentley, and Mackenzie would like it, but I have been very surprised at how much the other two boys have played on it. It's been great with the mild weather we've been having. We've been spending a lot of time outside and made several trips to pick up school lunches on bikes/in the stroller. We've also spent almost every weekend at Kevin and Kerry's house because Kenney has been working on the rent house and I need to got to the store. The kids have loved it and always find things to do.

This little girl has been very blessed with brothers that are always willing to help her!

Jumping from the swings.
He looks so long and skinny!!  I know he always looks that way, but this picture really highlights it.
A little less Stretch Armstrong-ish!
Radley taking a leap.
I know when 5 kids are home all day we have messes everywhere, but I feel like it is so much worse these days!  Mackenzie's age doesn't help, but when I'm helping the boys with school there are always messes everywhere!
And everyday the cushions are used to build some kind of bed/fort/landing platform/etc.  This was Kyler's throne one day.
I've been doing an inventory of our food and storage products.  This is Mackenzie's way of helping me.  She was either doing this or spreading the products everywhere!
We were late to the game, but this is our sidewalk chalk art that many people have been doing.
Working hard.
Ready to pull off the tape.
Finished product!  They loved how it turned out.
Radley was reading a book about drawing and how often it begins with lines and dots.  He had to do a drawing with dots and one with lines.  This is his line inspired art.  I bet you can't figure out his inspiration??
This girl loves all dogs now.  She is lucky she has been around patient dogs because she is not very soft!  She hits them repeatedly.
Kerry and I snuck away for a few hours to go to Sam's and to GET AWAY, but we stopped at Chick-fil-a for dinner.  I was trying to get a picture of the ridiculous way they were handing us food.  They put the food bags (which several different people touched) in a plastic tub and reached that across the window, rather than just handing the bags directly to us.  I was so confused!!  I completely missed the point they were hoping to accomplish by doing this??  Anyway, it was so odd.  Happy COVID-19 memories!
But these 2 mommas got a break and some food we didn't have to cook!!
They made some 'seats' or 'chairs' in the sandbox.
Right after this they got our squirt guns and got soaked!  They were no longer sandy; they were muddy!!  So fun, for them not us!
The kids really liked inspecting all the fish that Papa, Kevin, Conner, and Jace brought back from their fishing trip.
I think these boys are ready to fish!!
I was shocked Bentley picked one up too!  Look at that smile; she was really proud of herself.
They caught some pretty big fish.  Our boys didn't try and hold the 26lb one they caught on a jug line, but it was HUGE!!
This past Sunday Kenney made this stand to help encourage our kids to be more excited to participate in church.  We're hoping it works!

They got really excited when we took off the tape!
